Sami Stamps has made some wonderfully, whimsical Halloween Kitties. They are digital images and i know it's hard to pick just one from the new release!
The challenge at Sami's Stamps is to us a Sami Stamp and to use Halloween Colors! Please come and play, we'd love to see what you can create. Don't forget, Sami always offers a freebie so anyone can play along!
As you know, my style is to cut out the images, so the hardest image for me to do is one that i don't cut out. This one is one of those images. I also have a tough time with white space..i look at it and wonder what am i suppose to do? Well, my team mates have answered that question..wait until you see their cards, too!
The Sami Stamps image i've used for this card is called "Scaredy Cat":
Ok, so i showed this card to my husband, and again i said, "Can you tell what i did?" He tilts his head, and is a bit clueless...i said, "Does it look like a stamp?" What do you think, does it? That was my intention..and i think it was because i wasn't sure what to do with the white space. The little "Oct. 31/spooky" is part of a pattern paper from Doodlebug (last years Halloween).
I also have used a sketch from Sketchy Colors, an awesome sketch!
Copics used:
cat- C3, 5, 7, CB E02, 50
bat- V04, 06, 09
Here is the entire release, how could you pick just one?
Challenges:
Sketch Colors- Sketch
Eureka Stamps challenge- Wings and Things
Crafty Creations Challenges- Winged Things
