My Besties "Making Faces" Garden Girl with a Fancy Fold card

I am always inspired by what i see.  What's that game?  Pictionary?   Or remember when someone would draw a squiggly line and you had to make something with it?  That's how i feel about making cards and using images.  I see more than just an image, i "see" what i can do with it besides coloring it and placing it on a card..it challenges me to do something different every time.

So what was my "squiggle" line.. well, the image and a fancy fold card and figuring out "how" i wanted to put the two together.

If you have been following me, you might know i fussy cut most of my images.  Well, this image with the curly lines was a bit harder and challenging for me to cut out..some times i just cut the little curly bits off, however, this one needed the strawberry vines..i think..so i intricately cut them out and added more color so i had a bit more room to cut too. :)

So here is my card using My Besties "Making Faces" Garden Girl, the card is open:
Here is what it looks like closed and close-up:

Several dies were used on this card:

I had colored this image before i had this flower..i purchased the flower today at Hobby Lobby, but it is a Prima flower, and i am sure you can buy it anywhere on line.  I love the delicate feathers in with the flower.  There are 4 different color flowers in the pack.

The dies on this card are:
Antique glitter flowers- Memory Box (and i cut it up a bit) it was a square floral die.
The brown circle flourish is a Lea'abilities die. (i cut it out backwards and twice so that i could use the negative inside of the brown circle.)

My Besties / Making Faces- Buzzing By with a "HI"

Just finished this card and it has a bit of a story.. i totally changed the image..i had a wonderful card base/sketch and added an image i didn't like so i took it off and added this one instead...so much happier with this image.  By changing the image i also changed some of the embellishments..i added some bumble bees from a new die i recently purchased..i can see i will be using this die this spring/summer on my cards!

Here is my card using the new My Besties / Making Faces:
So some of the dies on this card..first in the background (and you will have to look) there is a doily die from Memory box, the corners are Cheery Lynn which give the circle effect for the sketch.  The grapevine wreath is also from Memory Box.  The bumble bees are from Elizabeth's Crafts.
