Tutti Designs has some of the prettiest dies.. 

i love this new Tutti Designs - 768 Scrolly Snowflake Corner.

Again, paper plays a big role on this card besides the dies.. i used Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - ShimmerGust.  (blue paper).  I die cut the Snowflake corner twice from the paper making sure i could cut out the Tutti Design - Nesting Stitched Banner for the sentiment as well.  I have also used Tutti Designs Slimline - Trellis background and cut that out of white. The banner was cut out from white as well.  The sentiment was cut out of dark blue glitter paper. I layered the dies as shown turning the one corner the opposite way. After i put it all together, i added some sparkly gems.

For this card, I built my card all around this die from Studio Light.  I call it a book die.  It called for two separate pieces in the center, but i chose to keep it as one piece by making my own measurements. I took that piece and stamped on it.  Then i colored in bits of the stamp as you can see using Primacolor pencils. Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - BumbleTwinkle was perfect for the background papers.

Tutti Designs - 752 Santa's Boots

I am using the new Tutti Designs - 752 Santa's Boots

For this card, I did some paper piecing. First i cut out the die from black card stock. If you recall, i made a gift bag with Santa's Boots in another blog post.  I saved the negative bits for the red for this card and used them as shown. The paper i used made the boots look like they had been in the snow. That paper is Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - ThunderGlow. I also "fussy diecut" the gold this die.  So, how did i get the white for the boots?  I cut the white card stock that the boots are sitting "in".  I saved the white from that cut out.  Now i have an opening in the front of my card and i want to be able to inset the paper pieces into the black outline.  So what i did was use the handy extra die from the Santa's Boots and die cut it out of a scrap paper (white in my case) and adhered that behind the white card stock.  Now i have a base to build my Santa's boots. I love the look of the die being inset into the top layer of the card!  FYI, the gold mat is what i used to cut out the gold for the boots.  I just cut out a square to use for my fussy diecutting.  Now for more interest, i added sequins and tiny gems.  I also added a tiny black opaque gem for the bird's eye.  Oh, i almost forgot the obvious.. i also cut out Tutti Designs - 767 Snowflake Foliage Corner and placed that in the corner.

Coming to Create and Craft TV - July 27, Scrolly Deer Edge!

This is a gift card holder.  It is a different combination. I used several Tutti Designs dies.

To make the card, i die cut Tutti Designs - 213 Nesting Stitched Tag and a hand cut rectangle the length of Tutti Designs - Snowflake Corners and the width of two of them when one is flipped vertically as shown. I cut a piece of vellum to fit on the outside of the rectangle and then i glued down the snowflake corners as shown.  Then i stitched around the outside of the pocket, leaving the top unstitched. Next i added Tutti Designs - Deer to the front of the tag. (this is an older die that has been brought back for a short time).  I think the paper is what makes this design pretty. I used one sheet of Fairy Hugs - Purple and cut out the deer and saved the other side of the paper for the tag i used to put inside the snowflake "pocket".   Then i made a paper hinge so i could join the tag and "pocket" together to make a card.  To cover the hinge on the inside of the card, i made another tag and covered the hinge.  I joined the back of the hinge to the back of the rectangle snowflake pocket.  I used Tutti Designs - Snowflake Garland for the top of the purple/fuchsia tag and trimmed off the extra. Now for the fun part...i added gems to the snowflakes, stars in the deer antlers and sequins to the center of the large snowflakes on the snowflake border. I wanted the deer to have a black gem eye, so i added a tiny one.

 i have stamped the flowers in VersaFine Clair Ink - Morning Mist.  The fairy and sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne.  I colored in the flowers and fairy with Prismacolor pencils. Last i did some masking using a circle for the moon and torn paper for the clouds and ground.

For this card i started out with some beautiful paper from Fairy Hugs - ThunderGlow is the corner border paper and Fairy Hugs - ShimmerGust is the background paper.

Almost looks like paper piecing, but it's not. I cut out the oval die from the center of the paper and placed it back inside of the oval without the negative bits. Then i backed the paper with gold mirror/metallic paper.
