Tutti Designs - 747 Birthday Windows

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

For this card, i used 2 Tutti Designs dies.  To start with i used some We Are 3 Digital Paper - Distressed Burlap, We Are 3 Digital Paper - Best of Autumn and We Are 3 Digital Paper - Summer Splashes.

For the first layer, i cut out Tutti Designs - 747 Birthday Windows, Tutti Designs - 139 Maple Vine Frame from the Purple/Burgundy paper. Next i cut a small piece of the orange paper and i cut out the Birthday windows again.   For the top layer (yellow) i used the outside die that comes with the Tutti Designs - Birthday Windows, i saved the cut out to put behind the purple/burgundy die. 

So to put this together, i layered the pink/burgundy paper (yes it has been cut into).  Next layer, i put the yellow cut out behind the purple/burgundy die cut and inset it into the orange layer and attached that to the first layer on the card.  Next, i put the burgundy/purple maple vine frame around the opening of the yellow layer and adhered that on top of the window layer with double sided foam tape.  

I had some stars i saved from other projects and randomly added thought throughout and i added gems to the birthday die cut and to the leave frame die cut.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Taylor's Tiger Lily

For this card,  I simply stamped this beautiful set called, Fairy Hugs - Taylor's Tiger Lily. 

This is a 3 stamp set which allows you to make several arrangements with the flowers.. or just use the fairy, Taylor on it's own siting on an inked hill in another scene or on the beautiful Fairy Hugs Craft Papers that make crafting simple.  The flowers were stamped with a light gray ink - VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so that i could color them in with Prismacolor pencils. Next i stamped the fairy from this set in VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne.  This allows me to layer on top of the light gray without a mask.  I used Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Some People.  Then i created my background using Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire and some torn paper and a circle mask from card stock.

Spooky Tutti Designs - 735 Desert Van

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

For this card, i wanted to use Tutti Designs - 735 Desert Van for a Halloween scene.  So to start, i used We Are 3 Digital Paper - Moody Night (orange moon scene) and We Are 3 Digital Paper - Black Essentials (small buffalo plaid) coming soon.  I also used We Are 3 Digital Paper - Howdy Autumn for the van. I matted the black buffalo plaid with white. Next, i cut the van from black card stock and from the Howdy Autumn paper (paisley orange).  I reduced the size of the print so it was in scale to the size of the van.  I snipped all of of the bits from the orange paper so that the background was black.  I had these wonderful brads that looked like hubcaps i used for the center of the wheels.  I cut off any of the back of the brads that extended over the wheels.  Next, i layered all of the papers onto a black card base (6"x 6").  I used double sided foam tape to give some dimension to the van. I saved the windows from the black card stock and placed them back inside the die and added a bit of glossy accents for a "shine".  To balance off the card, used Tutti Designs - 728 Web & Spiders by cutting the web to fit in the corner.  I also used the spider and added a drawn line for his extending spider string. One more thing..i like to add an opaque black gem to the back of the spiders.

To make this card, you need to make a mistake.. lol. That's what happened to this card. I got Fairy Hugs - Inga's Morning Glory all colored with Prismacolor pencils and i went to add the moon and the ink smeared.  So instead of "binning" the card. I cut it apart and went with plan B. 

So for plan B, i made the background first by doing some ink blending with torn paper and a circle mask.  I had to match the background to the foreground so it would seem intentional. Not too hard.  Faintly you can see i used a Fairy Hugs Stencil - Fairy Buds in the background.

Tutti Designs - 667 Spooky Fun

For this card, I started this card using Fairy Hugs Craft paper - MeadowSparkle.  i cut out Fairy Hugs - 667 Spooky Fun from black and gray paper. Then i cut out the ghosts out of white only keeping a tiny bit so i could glue them behind once i construct the truck. So to construct the truck, i backed the gray with the black, but i cut out the wheels and put them on top of the gray. You also need to cut away the gray spiderweb and the ghosts.  So when you cut the ghosts away from each layer, i tapered the ghost tails as shown. I distressed the truck and white ghosts with Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire.  I used acrylic hologram paint for the window and the parts behind the wheel.  Before you attach the truck and ghosts figure out where you want the truck to go and make a hill and a moon using Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire by using torn paper for the hill and a circle mask for the moon.  I used double sided foam tape to attach the truck, white ghosts and gray ghosts.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Musical Flutters

I enjoyed the process so much for this card, that i made two, just a bit different from each other.

Both cards used the same stamps and stencil.  Let's start with the background mats.  I used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Magical Dots on one and Fairy Hugs - Music Poem on the other one. Now for the toppers. For both papers i used a gel plate with Brushos and Distress Oxides. You can see this technique i did with another card on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/JTQ2gLn2mIo

Next for both cards, i used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Magical Dots with Distress Oxide ink and highlighted each dot with a pencil.  For the orange floral card i also stamped Fairy Hugs - Music Poem on the sides.  For the flowers i used: Fairy Hugs - Dahlia.  I stamped them in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. And then i also stamped the blooms on another piece of paper in orange and pink twice so that i could layer them to make them 3D on the card.  So i hand cut both blooms and used double sided foam tape to layer them on each card.  Next, i used Fairy Hugs - Musical Flutters (dragonfly and butterflies).  I stamped them both 2 times on another gel print i made similar to the gel print i made as the focus behind the stamps. I hand cut them out and set them aside for a second.  For both cards i stamped either the butterfly or the dragon fly so that i would have the antennas on the card and wouldn't have to cut them and so i could make their wings 3D.  To make their wings 3D i used double sided foam tape that i attached just to the body section.
