A Little Birdie Told Me...

If you like creating your own card design, you will LOVE this month's NEW Freebie from White Spruce Studio!

You will get 12 different digital downloads garden elements that you can mix and match and create a scene.. or you can just use one by itself!

For this card i first started with a digital paper background (the blue paper is free at Bonnie Kohane Craft Time Page).

I layered the fence on top of the digital paper in my "word/pages" program.

To get the fence to be more transparent, you need to find the "opacity" option. I can find that option on my Mac in Pages under "Format" and then "Style". I reduce the opacity to 22%. I love how that turned out! You can also do this in Photoshop using the opacity.

Next, i combined the Birdhouse and the Wheelbarrow. And because the images are PNG (transparent background) i can layer them on top of each other. I chose to layer the two images separately from the background with the fence, because i wanted some depth. But you can totally add the images on top the fence that has the lower opacity.

I then colored the images with colored pencils and hand cut it out and then layered it on top of the fence with double sided foam tape. (I actually die cut my background and made my card base before i added the cut out images with foam tape)

I have also used:
Spellbinders - Nested Postage Labels for the card base (and small stamp)
Spellbinders - Postage Number

Thank you for stopping by!

I have used:
Spellbinders - From Ink to Petal Press & Foil Club, Feb 26
Spellbinders - From Ink to Petal Stencil
Spellbinders - Make a Wish Arch Labels - Cutting dies
Spellbinders - BetterPress Ink - Thunder

What i did... First, i pressed the From Ink to Petal using the BetterPress Ink, Thunder. Next, i used the Ink to Petal stencil and Lisa Horton Inks. Wishing You Sunny Days!

You can create this sweet wall art or make it as a card if you'd like!

Here is what i used:
White Spruce Studio - 52 Baby Farm Animals (Bunny, Sun, fence and flower)

For this project, i up-cycled a charity frame. Originally it had a Christmas theme. I covered the scene with blue glitter paper and layered some paper on top. Next i printed out the Bunny, sun, fence and flower several times and layered them with foam tape to create a 3D wall art scene. You can also do single layers or make this a sweet baby card! Don't forget these can be used on baby onesies and shower decorations!
