Super excited to be a Guest on Sherri Baldy's My Besties Friendship team!

When i first started with My Besties last February (2014), one of the things i instantly enjoyed was the fact that i was making friends around the world. 

I admire the Designers on Sherri Baldy's My Besties teams.  Many of the designers that work on the teams do not have English as their first language and yet they take the time to try to communicate!  I feel that truly speaks for Sherri Baldy's Design teams...and how kind they can be.  

I, on the other hand, can only speak English.  I wish i could've learned more languages now.  I know there is a translate button, it isn't perfect like really knowing the language.

So the reason for this post?  I met two wonderful friends from the My Besties designers and they are the co-ordinators for Sherri Baldy's My Besties Friendship team.  They have kindly asked me to guest design for them. 

Thank you, Andrea and Anja for being my friends!  This card is in honor of the both of you!

For this project i am using a My Besties 3D sheet called img190 found Scrapbook Stamp Society here

These sheets are fun and easy to use!  They are all pre-colored for you, all you do is print out your sheets, cut out the pieces you wish to use and layer them with foam tape, foam dots/squares or Silicone glue.

This image was the 3rd one i chose..not that it was my 3rd choice..cause i really love them all.  So i was looking at cards on Pinterest, as always, to get ideas and i saw several cards using a postcard theme..and i thought aha!  This would be great for this image!

Sherri Baldy's Brand New Release.. My Crafty Box

I am in love with the new images that Sherri just designed...i instantly gravitated towards this one as the first one i wanted to create with.  Why...well, i love to sew!

This crafty chick...is all about sewing!!!  This image can be found at Sherri Baldy's Etsy store here.

I altered a box and used Sherri's new paper line for every bit of the box.   Found an old metal zipper and cut it with some pliers for the right length..

There are also bottlecaps made for the tops of your thread spools or anything else that works in your craft room!

Sherri Baldy's Brand New Release.. Donuts Anyone??

Have you ever seen anything so fun???  I love donuts, don't you??  I chose to use this Sherri Baldy's new released image as my second choice because she is so fun..  Of course, i have chocolate for my icing on my donut..

There are soooo many sentiments for a donut image.. have you ever checked out Pinterest??  Wow.. I will give you a link here..for sentiment ideas

I chose to make an Easel card using a Spell binders die for each layer and turned one for the sentiment.  I also cut some of the layers out to get a closer layering..

I used a inked all of the edges with brown ink and added a bit of Stickles diamond too.  She is just gorgeous i think!!
