My son will be 34 on the 3rd of July. He was born at 11:45pm and the dr asked me if i wanted to wait (after spending the day laboring) 15 minutes to have a baby born on the 4th...i said "NO"...of course i said that emotionally, i was laboring (no shots). :) He was born 10lbs 3oz...so that was why i labored a bit longer...I lost 27lbs right after...:)
Oh so why did i say all of that? i made this gift bag for his birthday gift card:
I did use a card sketch for this bag from Skipping Stones Design (i rotated it vertically and left the banner horizontal):
Copics used:
skin- YR000, 00, R20, 24
hair- E41, 31, 34
shirt- R24, 39
shorts- C3, CB
shoes- C1, 5, 7
Challenges:
Magnolia Down Under- Decorate a Paper Bag
Skipping Stones Design- Sketch
Tilda's Town- Time to Celebrate!

This is fantastic Bonnie! I'm sure he will love this! Don't worry about sharing, I find myself doing that often to...and then wondering about it after! LOL Those are moments in our lives that we never forget!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why anyone tries to joke with women in labour - I mean, really? It could be completely hilarious & we'd still try to hurt them. Do you still get the feeling every birthday of "omygosh, how did you get so big??" My mom still says she blinked.
ReplyDeleteI love the banner, and the soccer ball! Too cool.
