For this card, I started out with some beautiful paper from Fairy Hugs called, Petal Shimmer. Next i used Tutti Designs - 763 Oval Winter Windows and used the outside oval die and cut out the center of the paper. I saved that piece and die cut the Santa scene from the center. I saved the negative part and set aside the diecut for another card/project. Next i cut out the die one more time out of blue glitter paper. Place a piece of white cardstock behind the oval opening and paper piece on top of that starting with the outside oval frame, then the blue glitter die cut and lastly the negative parts. To make the simple version you could have just placed the Santa diecut in the center of the paper without paper piecing anything. Next i used Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ThunderGlow (green paper) to die cut Tutti Designs - 765 Holly Leaves Frame and adhered that around the oval winter window.
