DT's Sketch Challenge

The blogger isn't working right, so i hope this card shows up. I am missing a week's work of posts.

For this sketch challenge at the Designed 2 Delight blog i chose to use the "Lucky bird" image (catch him while you can, this one is on sale).
I thought it was perfect for a graduation card.
I paper pieced the image. Colored in the beak, clover and red dots on the boots using my copic markers.
The pink embossed clouds are from a handmade embossing folder i made. I also used red/white baker's twine, brads and nestibilities.

Designed 2 Delight - Pail of Flowers Card

It's a new month and the beginning of a new progressive monthly challenge at one of my favorite digital stamp blogs called "Delightful Inspiration" , where you can find this current challenge.

What i did was print the digital image on patterned paper and colored it in w/copic markers. The shape card is from Hello Kitty cricut cartridge and it is the "sun" image. I also used Marianne's Eyelet die.
Added a few flowers and a freebie circle sentiment.

I really liked the images i received for FREE from Designed 2 Delight this last month and decided to use ALL of them in one card (except for the extra flower and sentiments). Cool, huh?

ABC (anything but a card) challenge- Baby Milestones

Arghhhh....take 3...i just realized that the image below, was missing it's bow when i took the picture, i think i FINALLY, have it right in this picture...This is what happens when you do things away from home...things fall off and i do things in a hurry and misspell words...I think this is it...sorry.
I've corrected my first box i made, below i misspelled the word "milestones" and my friend, Sara was kind enough to point that out. I guess it's what happens when you aren't fully charged. :) I also, had misspelled the title for this post and have corrected that as well.

I found this metal recipe box and added some patterned paper, buttons, ribbons and cute teddy bear image. I thought it would be a great place to store milestone notes, as they happen for our new grandson that will be born in August. I can then take the "notes" and use them as reference for his scrapbook or use the actual cards in his scrapbook.
