Fairy Hugs - Love Birds

If you remember i created another card with this same design, well, i saved the "negative" parts of those papers from the background and used them here. I did have a bit of a twist, because Fairy Hugs Craft Papers are double-sided, i reversed the heart paper and now i have a completely different card.
Here is a photo of the previous card i made so you can see what i mean. The bright red/purple paper cutout is the heart in the card above..but the pinky paper is what is on the back side of the bright red/purple paper. The inside heart below was cut from the pink frame above paper. Cool huh.. two cards from 2 papers.

So let's continue, first i stamped Fairy Hugs sentiment - Fairy Poem without having the heart shape inserted using VersaFine Clair - Acorn. Then i inserted the heart to stamp on the entire card. I stamped Fairy Hugs - Lola and the Love Birds in VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Fairy Hugs - Magical Key, Fairy Liana (branch) with VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I colored in all of the stamps with Prismacolor pencils. I distressed the edges with Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire. Oh one other thing. I purchased an extra Fairy Hugs sentiment - Love at Christmas so that i could it part to create other sentiments. In this case i just used the "with love".

Sneak Peek - Fairy Hugs NEW Sentiment Release - Your Wings

I have been having a lot of fun creating with the NEW upcoming Fairy Hugs Sentiment Release.

The release will be in the store on February 15.

I am using Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Your Wings

I love this combination of stamps with the new sentiment. I started my card using We Are 3 Digital Paper - Backgrounds Happen. The first thing i did was make a mask of the sentiment. i trimmed close to the sentiment on the mask. I positioned all of the stamps on my card front and then i stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I put the mask on top and stamped the Vine Heart Frame in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I wanted the ink to be lighter for the heart vine so i could color it in with Prismacolor pencils. Next, i stamped the Magical Key in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne..and positioned the fairy, Estrella on top of the key and stamped her in VersaFine Clair as well. I wanted some more texture and i randomly stamped Fairy Hugs - Fairy Dictionary in the background. Next thing i did was color in the images and add a bit of gold sparkle gel pen.
