Congrats, Alizabeth

My niece is getting married in September.  My daughter and i did the entertainment at her bridal shower last night.  I made her this card to go with her gift.  I colored her hair to look like my niece.   I don't normally get to see the recipient receive my card and i was so happy that she was pleased.

ohhh a Fairy Card..

My daughter loves everything woodland and has loved fairies since we lived in Wales.  She has a room in her home w/some fairy pictures framed that we purchased while living in Wales.  In fact the head piece she wore when she was married i made based on one of the fairy pictures.  So fairies remind me of her.

I am totally not a sunbather..i think it's because i burn...and i don't like to take the time for the sunscreen...but the biggest reason is i like to create and to just lay there and get hot...well it doesn't work for me.

Happy Hot Summer and 4th of July!

I guess i missed most of the heat in the midwest..but i guess there is more to come.  Visiting my daughter in CO makes for a nice break in the summer, i find that it isn't as humid in CO as in Indiana!  I actually like to sit outside at night on their deck and talk walks without feeling all sweaty.

This stamp is not a Saturated Canary digital image but from Krista's Simply Sassy stamp line.  It reminds me of summer...but i was thinking fireflies...and these are butterflies. :)  I love fireflies in the summer because it reminds me of my childhood summer days at the cottage. :)

I am not "Lion" i am on a Great DT

I was asked to be on Tuesday Morning Sketches Design Team..Whoo HOO!  I am excited and was able to meet Theresa (who owns the blog with her sister Melissa) in Denver after accepting the dt position.  We had a great time meeting up for the first time at Archivers.
