A beautiful LO turned into a frame

I am going to make this LO based on another LO my friend Jenee found at one of the sites she visited.
my grandson, Emmett

Here is the photo inspiration and link to this gorgeous LO:

I am going to take this step by step and recreate another LO with some of the supplies i have at home.  I did purchase a frame at Michael's for 12.99 and picked up some paper for the background, as i didn't have the wood looking paper in my stash.
Here is the first step to my frame:

The next step is the corrugated cardboard and the the vintage paper i was able to find on line for free. Corrugated cardboard was part of a box i tore up that i had.

I was going to make a paper frame but i found the perfect frame at Michaels for $2 in a bin
Now i've added the flowers and embellishments.  The flowers were in the $1 bin and i found the embellishments at Michaels as well.
A completed close up:

  1. This turned out BEAUTIFUL!! You did a fantastic LO, adding your own "Bonnie" touch to it. That is just the sweetest pic of Emmett, and this has turned out to be a true work of heart! I LUV it, and I know Holly will, too. It does make me want to find a suitable photo and make one, too! Better still, you just make the LO, send it to me, and I'll buy a suitable frame and add the picture (grin)!
