I am using Fairy Hugs - Magu

For this card,  i started out with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ShimmerGust.  This paper inspired the colors and placement of the stamps. I wanted to create a scene where Magu (dragon) was waiting for her treasures to be born. So i created 3 dragon eggs.  I hand cut the shapes and painted them with black gesso.  Next i used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Rocks and texture paste and Tim Holtz embossing glazes to give the eggs dimension and color.  Next i positioned the stamps.  I stamped the rocks and pinecone branches by the rocks in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so i could color them in and so that i didn't have to make a mask of Magu.  Next, i stamped Magu in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne.  I also stamped the sentiment and arched pinecone branches in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne.  Last stamp is the mini castle and i stamped that one in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist.  Before i add the eggs, i did some coloring.  I colored in the rocks and Magu with Prismacolor pencils.

This card started out with a gel plate and some Distress Oxide!  I love that you never know what the result might be.  I am loving the newest release from Fairy Hugs with the book theme!

For this card, i made a mask* of the fairy called, Olivia from Fairy Hugs.  I stamped her first and then proceeded to stamp the rest of the stamps around her.  The last thing i did was color in the images with Prismacolor pencils.

 *To make a mask you need to stamp the image that you want to show up in front of images on a separate piece of paper and cut the image out. Then you stamp that image on your project and put the mask on top of it.  Then you proceed to stamp other images "on top" of the masked image.  When you remove the mask, the image you stamped first looks like it is in front of the other stamped images.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Olivia and Magu

To create this card, i started out with a Gel Print i made and i added some extra ink to the bottom for the stamps to sit on. 

So i basically stamped all of the images you see in VersaFine Ink - Nocturne and then i colored in the fairy and dragon wings with Prismacolor Pencils.
