I am using Fairy Hugs - Magu

For this card, i started out with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ShimmerGust. This paper inspired the colors and placement of the stamps. I wanted to create a scene where Magu (dragon) was waiting for her treasures to be born. So i created 3 dragon eggs. I hand cut the shapes and painted them with black gesso. Next i used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Rocks and texture paste and Tim Holtz embossing glazes to give the eggs dimension and color. Next i positioned the stamps. I stamped the rocks and pinecone branches by the rocks in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so i could color them in and so that i didn't have to make a mask of Magu. Next, i stamped Magu in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I also stamped the sentiment and arched pinecone branches in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. Last stamp is the mini castle and i stamped that one in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. Before i add the eggs, i did some coloring. I colored in the rocks and Magu with Prismacolor pencils.

Fairy Hugs NEW Release - Love Birds

Hello everyone and Happy Sneak Peek Day!!

Fairy Hugs will be sharing a new release on January 10, 2022

The new release will be launching on The Craft Store in the UK as well as in the Fairy Hugs Store.

Let's see what can be made using the New release from Fairy Hugs!

Fairy Hugs is releasing 7 NEW stencils. On this card i have used the Stencil called, Swirls.

I used this stencil two ways. First i added it to the background the normal way by inking it. Second, waited until i stamped the images to add some molding paste in places for texture and let that dry. Molding paste will take on the colors of the Distress Oxide Ink from the background.

Before i used the molding paste, i auditioned my stamps for placement and then i decided to add a moon. I made the moon by die-cutting a circle and using it as a mask to make the "halo". I used Distress Oxide - Chipped Sapphire. Next i stamped the images and sentiment in VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne.

I then colored in the flower with Prismacolor pencils.
