Wonderful Bookmark Gift - Fairy Hugs Enchanted Dies - Nightwell Castle

Simple tag, but remember to keep the die cut from the "inset" opening for another card because it makes a beautiful ombre die cut. To make this tag, use a strip of paper and diecut Fairy Hugs Enchanted Die - Nightwell Castle and save it. Use the "window" that you just made to inset a white diecut from the same die. Before you inset the white die, stamp Fairy Hugs - Fireworks and Sparkle Dust and Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Once Upon. Die cut your background die and layer the stamped strip on top. Now you can add your castle diecut into the window opening. Add some ribbon to the top of the die and you have a wonder little gift for someone.

Merry Christmas with a few Funky Shrooms!

Special Post with a Christmas Idea!

We will be sharing ideas for Halloween projects, but 3 Funky Shrooms that will be available on Create and Craft can be used for Christmas as well!

Let's see what we can make using supplies from Fairy Hugs Store

I am using Fairy Hugs - Funky Shrooms 2 and 3

Both of these cards were made in the same way. I started with paper from Fairy Hugs - TumbleShine.

Next, i stamped the Funky Shrooms on a separate piece of card stock and colored them in with Prismacolor pencils and gold sparkly gel pen and then i hand cut them out.

I figured the position of the Shrooms and then i stamped Fairy Hugs - Mini Owls so that they would look like they are perching on top of the Shrooms. Each Shroom has a different owl and background. Before i added the mushrooms i masked off a moon and added a "halo" using Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire. I also gave a little hill for each Shroom using a torn piece of paper and Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire. Now i adhered the Shrooms to the card under the owls. I used a sentiment from Visible Image and embossed it with a sparkly embossing powder. Next i stamped a few Fairy Hugs - Sparkle Dust (stars) and heat embossed them as well. I inked up the edges of the card and attached it to the card base.

It's a Magical Place - Fairy Hugs -Nightwell Castle

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday!!

For this card it is Disney inspired. I used 2 Fairy Hugs Craft Papers to create this card.

The paper made it really simple.

For the Fairy Hugs Enchanted Die - Nightwell Castle, i used Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - TangleWhisper. I was so excited to get the ombre effect by selecting a specific part of the paper. Next i used Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - BumbleTwinkle and added the hill tops by using torn paper and Distress Oxide - Chipped Sapphire. I placed the castle on the paper to see where i wanted it and the stamps to go. Once i was satisfied, I stamped the images first and then i glued the castle down. I used Pentel Sparkly Silver Gel Pen to highlight the fireworks and the stars. I also added a few gems to give more sparkle.

Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Song of Love

Hello everyone and Happy Sneak Peek Week!!

Fairy Hugs will be releasing 8 NEW sentiments on February 15th!

Let's see what we can make using the NEW Fairy Hugs sentiments!

I am using Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Songs of Love

I started out with some We Are 3 Digital Paper - Background Happens. First i stamped the new Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Songs of Love. Then i positioned Fairy Hugs - Clovers so that Fairy Hugs - Tara would fit with the sentiment. The clovers were stamped in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so i could color on top with blooms with my pencils. Then i stamped Tara (fairy) with VersaFine Clair - Nocturne so she would stand out on top of the clovers. Fairy Hugs - Spooky Moons (small moon) was stamped in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so it would look faded. I did add an inked halo around the moon. I then stamped Fairy Hugs - Sparkle Dust (stars) and put a sparkle gold gel pen in the center to make them "shine".

Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Make A Wish

Azalea told Freddie to make a wish....

I really enjoyed creating this card!

I started out with We Are 3 Digital Paper - Inky Scenes. I auditioned my stamps by using the acetate that comes with the stamps. I made Azalea into a mask, and stamped her in VersaFine Ink - Nocturne. Next i stamped Freddie using VersaFine Ink - Morning Mist. I took off the mask and colored in Freddie and Azalea with Prismacolor pencils..i also added a few grass blades as well. Next i stamped the Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Make a Wish and Fairy Hugs - Sparkle Dust in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I pulled out the new Fairy Hugs - Stencil - Swirls and inked the top of the card using Chipped Sapphire. Then i splattered some white acrylic paint on the top half of the card.
