Tutti Designs - Overload of Love - Card Tutorial

For this card, i have made a step by step photo tutorial

First i cut out Tutti Designs - Spooky Fun (truck) i cut the truck part out and fussy cut the web/and ghosts out that were still attached. i cut out just the bottom part with the tires from black card stock and fussy cut those. Next i cut out several hearts (total of 10) using Tutti Designs - Nesting Stitched Hearts and i cut out one set of fall out hearts from Tutti Designs - Love Hanging.

Next i glued the truck onto gray card stock. 

Once the truck was fussy cut, i glued on the heart to cover up the bat on the door, and i glued the tires onto the truck. I hole punched a hole in the middle of the tire so i could add a pink brad.

This is what it looks like once the tires, heart and brads are on.

Next i used double sided foam tape and attached the truck to the paper scene.  Then i arranged the 10 hearts as shown and glued them in place.

Last 3 things, i added the tiny hearts and i die cut Tutti Designs - 232 Word Set Love and i stamped Fairy Hugs - Woodland Flight (birds) as shown on the finished card at the top.

Tutti Designs - Birdies Trio in a Teacup

This was another combination die card.  I used two Tutt Design dies to create the teacup design.

I die cut the teacup out of a purple-pink paper.  I traced around the die cut and fussy cut that out (cream paper). I also added the slit at the top of the cup so that i could slip in the bird die.  Next, I die cut the bird trio out of green card stock and then just cut out the birds from the purple-pink paper and glued those on top of the green die cut.   I did snip the foliage under the bottom bird's tail so that it could sit on the outside of the cup and the foliage could be tucked inside.  I taped the foliage i tucked in to the back of the cup.  I cut out the "Love" from mirror gold paper and adhered that to the cup.  

Now we will start with the card layers.  The pink layer is embossed with a floral embossing folder. Next layer is Tutti Designs - Oriental Screen cut in white. The next layer is a bit different.. i layered some dotted paper with embossed vellum. I did use my Xryon to the back of the vellum.  Then i painted it with some glitter paint.  The intention was to make the dotted paper not as noticeable.  Now i used double sided foam tape to adhere the Bird Trio Teacup to the top.  To finish it off i added a bunch of gems to the flowers on the teacup and the bird trio and i cut some of the stitched banners for the top.

Tutti Designs - Teacup and Lovely Heart Grass Arrangement

For this card i used some We Are 3 Digital Paper - Backgrounds Happen to get the watercolor look.

Next i have a photo of how i cut out each piece.  

I have used two Tutti Design dies to make the cup and flower arrangement.

** make sure you save the small cut out hearts from the "Heart flowers" and the inside of the cup.

The pink background cup doe not come with the die.  I traced around the die and hand cut it and i included the same size slit so i could make a pocket for the flower stems.

Not shown above is the two tags i cut out to back the flower arrangement.

This is what the back of the cup looks like when you place the stems "inside".

Before you attach the flower arrangement to the card you will need to make a "tea bag".

 I used the smallest tag and hole punched the top and strung some baker's twine through it.  I made a knot behind the tag to secure the string.  Next, i put the top of the string through the slit with the stems and secured that to the back.

Next i layered the tags and flower arrangement on top of the card layer. I embellished the tea bag with the small hearts,  cut out the larger word Love and attached that.  Then i added some gems to the flowers on the cup.
