Tutti Designs - Birthday Windows

For this card, i have used a lot of Tutti Design dies! the paper i used for the background, cupcake and birthday window is Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - ThunderGlow.  The blue paper is from Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - TangleWhisper.  So how i started was i cut out the cupcake,  and the birthday banner from the ThunderGlow paper.. i actually cut the entire cupcake out and used the frame of the die for another card.  I also saved the fall out stars and added them to the banners on this card.  To save on paper, i cut the cupcake die from the 1st layer on the card, because i knew it would be covered up with the top layers of the card. I also cut out the birthday window from the same paper as i mentioned above.  

So to layer things up.  First layer, ThunderGlow paper (that has the holes from the cupcake die).  

Next layer is Tutti Designs - Rose frame cut out from TangleWhisper paper.  I kept the fallout center.  I glued the die and the fallout center to white card stock and cut the white card stock with a border as shown. i attached that layer to the first layer with double sided foam tape.  

Next i cut out Tutti Designs - Nesting Stitched Banner 5 times.  The first size i cut was the one to fit the Birthday window.  I adhered the birthday window to the banner. Next i cut 2 banners from the next size down and 2 more banners from the smallest size.  I positioned the banners at the top as shown.  I added some seam ribbon tied in knots to the banners as shown. I also, added the fallout stars from the cupcake on the banners. 

Now for the cupcake.  I fussy cut it from the die and saved the frame for another card.  I glued the cupcake to a piece of white card stock and fussy cut it out leaving a bit of an edge.  

For the leaves i cut out Tutti Designs - Rose Trio and adhered that to the top layer after i figured out where i was putting the cupcake so the rose leaves could be behind the cupcake.  I didn't attach the leaves to the cupcake because i wanted the cupcake to have foam tape behind it so it would have dimension.

Tutti Designs - Hanging Love

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

For this card, i combined two different dies.  I cut the letters and bow strings off of Tutti Designs - Love Hanging and added them to Tutti Designs - Rose Trio.  I saved the top part of the Love hanging and used those for corners.  For the Rose Trio, i cut it out 2 times, one time out of green and one time out of red. You can see how i put this card all together below.

For this step, i glued the cut out rose outline and glued it on to this floral background.  

Then, i fussy cut it out

For this card i did some inking using Distress Oxide Ink. 

I smooshed 3 inks to get the color of the dies.

Tutti Designs - 102 Birdies Trio and 639 Rose Trio

For this card..it was quite interesting.. i know that if i don't use a die cut that it probably won't get used..unless it is a filler of some sort.  

So this is mostly a "scrappy" card.

I had cut out the Birdies Trio out of gray thinking i had this great idea..but it didn't work..so i ended up making this card instead.  The gray cut out turned out to be the shadow for the white die cut.  :)

Well, turns out i ended up using some other "negative" die cuts from my previous Tutti Slimline card, i have already shared. 

So anyway...save those pieces because you can always make another card. 

I used the Tutti Designs - 685 Slimline Stitched Wobbly Frame two times i cut one out of white and one out of the cream.  I used the white outside stitched frame for this card and the cream "negative" from the second die cut for this card.  You can inlay these together easily.  

Next i cut out the pink gingham from Tutti Designs - 688 Slimline Torn Edge Frames.  I used the second largest size but used the "negative" piece for this card.  

If you notice on the card at the bottom of the Birdies Trio you will see some "added" floral foliage.  Those are scraps as well, from the bottom of Tutti Designs - 174 Garden Arbour.  I needed to balance the card and found that Tutti Designs 639 - Rose Trio looked good.. but i wasn't happy with the how i could easily see the background paper behind it and the pieces were too small to piece back into the die. So i got out some vellum and glued it to the back and cut around it.  I also painted some glitter paint inside of the flower petals. I added 16 gems (i think) to the Birdies Trio die and the scrap Garden Arbour foliage at the bottom.
