Happy Birthday, Tutti Designs - 394 Leaves Scroll

Do you need a quick birthday card? I started with Tutti Designs Craft Paper - Holiday Wishes for the background cream paper. Next i used Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - RainbowDance. I need to tell you that RainbowDance, has the best papers for leaves or any colorful die you have and each card can be different depending on where you place your die. To get this beautiful die cut, i used Tutti Designs - 394 Leaves Scroll. There are several Tutti Designs fall leaves dies that would create a similar card. Next, i added Tutti Designs - 228 Word Set Happy and Tutti Designs - 229 Word Set Birthday and cut them both out of a gold glitter paper. Before i adhered the cream layer i stitched around the edge on my sewing machine. Then i layered the dies on top and made a bow to add to the bottom of the stem.

Tutti Designs - 737 Heart Frames

For this card i started out with We Are 3 Digital Paper - Darcy's Garden. I used 2 different sheets. One for the background (all over flowers) and another one for one of the inside of the frame. I measured the frame and hand cut a rectangle to fit inside. I also used a metallic/mirror paper for the second rectangle. I then cut out Tutti Designs - 737 Heart Frames from cream paper. Then i adhered the floral rectangle first and then the mirror/metallic rectangle. I fussy "diecut" the larger hearts (5 of them) and creased them in the middle. After adhering the frame with foam tape to the card front, i glued the fussy "diecut" hearts by putting a line of glue in on the crease in the back. Next i cut out the Tutti Designs - 228 Word Set - Happy and Tutti Designs - 229 Word Set - Birthday and glued that down as shown.

Tutti Designs - Heart Frames and Happy Birthday!

For this card, I think this is simple and sweet.. but guess what there is a bit of a twist and measurements involved to create this!!

Sooo, Tutti Designs - Heart Frame is the focus of this card, but i wanted to give a bit more excitement..so i picked a paper with color and details for my color theme, it works so well with the copper mirror/metallic paper!

So the background paper (you can use any favorite pretty paper you have) is We Are 3 Digital Paper - Margaret's Irises. Next i cut out Tutti Designs - 737 Heart Frames from the copper mirror/metallic paper. I needed to break up the design in the background so i measured the opening to the Heart Frames. There are 2 overlapping pieces. I hand cut two and glued them behind the frame. The measurement for the opening is about 4.25" x 3". I popped up the entire frame with double sided foam tape. The center needed something, so i pulled out Tutti Designs - Word - Happy and Tutti Designs - Word - Birthday and cut them out of a matching glitter paper and glued them to the center of the frame.

I added a few gems too!

Tutti Designs - 407 Poppies Stained Glass

I started this card with 2 different digital alcohol ink paper. The papers set the theme for my card that ended up being 3 different cards that i shared for the last 2 weeks.

So first, i die cut Tutti Designs - 407 Poppies Stained Glass out of an alcohol ink paper backed with double sided tape. I saved all of the pieces to be used on other cards. Next i cut the die from 2 more papers and i double sided each one before i cut them out, a pearl cream paper, mirror gold paper. Looking at the die cut you can see how i paper pieced this die using all of those papers. It was fun..just like doing a puzzle and a bit easier with the double sided tape on the background. What i do is put the frame down first and then i start filling in the pieces. For this card, i matted some digital paper with the gold mirror paper. Next, i die cut 2 squares from Tutti Designs - 218 Stitched Nesting Squares. I used the two smallest squares. The larger one i cut in half and then cut out another section to make it look like a photo border. I used that piece i notched out as a second accent to the border, next i cut out the smallest square and cut it in half and added all of those pieces to the card as shown. I then die cut Tutti Designs - 228 Happy word and Tutti Designs - 229 Birthday word (smaller versions) out of black card stock, that i also backed with double sided tape before i cut it out. I added some black gems to the corners as well.

Tutti Designs - 407 Poppies Stained Glass

So first, i die cut Tutti Designs - 407 Poppies Stained Glass out of a gold mirror paper backed with double sided tape. I saved all of the pieces to be used on on other cards.
