Tutti Designs - 663 Spooky Windows for Autumn theme

Even though this owl die is from a Halloween theme, it makes a really nice Autumn card.

Of course i added a sentiment that was a bit more spooky though...

 For this card, i think the paper is key because of the colors. The dotted background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Paper - Written Word.  The brown paper is a darker kraft paper. The plaid frame is from We Are 3 Digital Paper - Autumn Flannel. The background paper behind the owl is We Are 3 Digital Paper - 

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Stickers (Halloween)

To make this card, i die cute Tutti Designs 725 - Spiderweb Background 2 times because this is a 6 x 6" card and the die measures 5.5 x 4.  If you look close you can see i "matched" it up in the middle vertically.

The cheese cloth helped disguise the "seam" and added some fun texture.

I love the way i could mat the Tutti Designs - 663 Spooky Windows because it looks double matted when i make the outside frame opening slightly larger. I used double sided foam tape to add the framed owl to the background layers. The sentiments are stickers.

I have some wonderful Spooky windows that i have been working on.  This is the 3rd one so far.  I love how it turned out.

For this card, i started out with We Are 3 Digital Paper - Watercolor Batik.

Then i die cut Tutti Designs - 663 Spooky Windows (cat) out of copper glitter paper.

I framed it by cutting out a square and a smaller square to make a frame. I used We Are 3 Digital Paper - Autumn Flannel for the frame.

Next i used the web from Tutti Designs - 728 Web and Spiders.  I cut it in half and added it to the window frame.  Once that was all adhered to the card base.  Last thing i did was cut out Tutti Designs - 717 Poinsettia Frame in black and added that on top of the framed window.

Tutti Designs - 728 Web and Spiders again!

As always i start out with some We Are 3 Digital Paper.  This time i am using - We Are 3 Digital Paper - Written Word.  I inked up this paper with Distress Oxide ink - Chipped Sapphire.  I stitched around the outside with black thread and left the strings hanging for more of a "webby" look.  Next i die cut the Spider web window from the set of 4 Halloween Windows from black glitter paper.  I also cut out a web and spiders from black glitter paper.  I decided to frame out the witch and cut out some We Are 3 paper for the frame and the back ground.  I placed everything down on the paper layer to see the placement and then i drew the hanging spider strings with a black/purple gel pen.  I brought the paper back to the sewing machine to stitch those spider hanging threads in black thread...again i left the strings hanging.  I adhered everything to the front and attached it to the card base.  Last, i added some gems to the spiders.
