The Fading Rose for Halloween

Ching Chou Kuik's October Challenge just started!

Here is my card using Ching Chou Kuik image, The Fading Rose

I have used Copics and  Prismacolor Pencils to color this image.

I added 91% alcohol and a few drops Copic C5 refill ink to a small plastic container and 

then added some white cheesecloth to the container to change the color of the cheesecloth 

and to make it more "spooky".

I colored up The Fading Rose to have a "dearly departed" look.

RaWr it's a Birthday Dinosaur!

Been playing..i love watching Tim Holtz Saturday Facebook Videos.
I have watched the same on with Alcohol Lift tons of times.
Meanwhile, last Saturday, Tim went back to his roots of crafting.
He showed how to crumple up one of his tags and simply ink it with the standard Distress Ink.
Then he sprayed it with water and ironed it.
So, i have yet to purchase a Tim Holtz tag to craft with and so i took out my Gray Tone paper pad, ripped out a sheet and cut it in half.
That is what started this card..and this is what it evolved into.

I am using a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die - (dinosaurs) 664155

However, i used a bunch more Tim Holtz Sizzix dies.

I didn't have one of Tim Holtz alphabet sets so i used -660211 for (RAWR)

 The "tag" that started this card project.

This is my 3rd Sweet November Mixed Media wall hanging.
I used a wooden canvas to create this project
I also colored in the stamped images with prismacolor pencils.
I altered the digital paper with Lindy's Magical Shaker - Antique Bronze

 and probably stashed away in a drawer.

This month the challenge is to use "loose glitter"

For this card i put loose glitter in some molding paste and then i used a Tim Holtz stencil.
After it dried, i rubbed some Distressed Ink to give more dimension.
