Not so great Dinosaur cards
I wanted my 2 yr old grandson to experience rubber stamping so i let him help me stamp the dinosaur skeletons...it was fun, but i always think i need to use everything i do, so i got out another stamp and used my new glue stamp so i could use glitter on the square stamped dinosaur. This has turned out to be quite a collage...oh well.

Making a Baby Announcement for Holly
found the bottom middle announcement at Salvation army, but only 10 and we needed more, so i looked at the original to make my own. The original is made on cardstock, i used what i had on hand...so a lighter weight paper. I did print the announcement on white cardstock and adhered it to the paper, including the original. I added "it's a girl" circle punch-out to the middle of the buttons. I also had to make the envelopes to fit this card. The best card was on Cricut's New arrival cartridge, it makes the largest envelope at 6.5" setting.
Diaper that fits over the announcement
You can get 5 diapers from (2) 12" x 12" patterned paper, if you lay the pattern out this way. I actually cut the diaper in half (allow for a seam in the crotch) for 3 of the patterns and 2 i was able to keep in one piece. See the two pattern LOs above and below.

New Baby's Pages
Kerri's finished monster quilt
Kerri chose the fabrics for this quilt. I stitched/appliqued it. And Quilts Plus quilted it. I also made the binding and put the binding on it.
Kerri saw this pattern in Boulder, CO and really liked it. The one in Boulder had gems on it also, so i don't know if she will add that to it yet.
Beckett checking out the quilt.
Ayden can you find the blue monster? He is looking....

Spring 2008 Layouts
I used the Cricut, Storybook cartridge for this brown embellishment/border
On the first nice spring day, i decided to take the boys out to sit on the front porch to wait for their parents. Beckett decided to go down the cement stairs head first..i managed to catch him/slowed the impact, but he still got a bump on his head :(
One of many TV LO's. It's the easiest way to get a photo of two toddlers.
Wiffle Ball and Rock LO. Used Martha Stewart's border punch.

Feed the Birds LO
At the Indinapolis Children’s Museum Playscape area they have this little area where toddlers can “feed the birds”. Birds are painted on a board with cut-out mouths. that you put “food” in.(plastic bugs & worms)
Ayden was scared to put his food in the mouths, so Grandpa Joe tried to show you how to put the food in the mouth.

Carousel LO
Carousel LO- Journaling says:On our 3rd visit to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. (06/27/08) we rode the musical carousel on the 4th level. Ayden wasn’t comfortable sitting on an animal so Grandpa Joe sat with him on the bench. Beckett seemed to like to sit on the horse with his dad standing next to him. Grandma Bonnie I used Zoobaloo cricut cartridge unicorn die cut (cut off the horn) and used watercolor pencils to draw in the details. Highlighted with zig permanent marker. Used Martha Stewart border punch for the top "awning".

Indianapolis Children's Museum Dinosaurs
This is our second & third visit to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. By now Ayden has been saying, "Rrr, Rrr" when ever he sees Dinosaurs. I wrote "Can you find Grandpa Joe" on the journaling spot.
This is a same LayOut but with a different background paper. I make 2 LO's one for each grandson. Paper is from Basic Grey. Large circle( letter "o") is diecut from the cricut using the Plantin School book cartridge.

Sand Table LO
Two page LayOut. Indianapolis Children's Museum- Playscape area for Preschoolers had a large sand table for playing. This is my grandsons, Ayden and Beckett and their parents. The pictures in this LO are from June 27, 2008, the bottom LO pictures are from April 18, 2008. I believe it is the first time the boys played with sand....they would be about 18 months old. The flower, corner and sandcastle are cricut die cuts. The pail is a coloring page from the internet reduced and copied off in red, white and yellow and then paper pieced.

Archivers Watercolor Card Class

Indianapolis Children's Museum
This is the second and third time we visited the Children's Museum with the boys and their parents. April 2008/June 2008
The museum has an area for preschoolers under the age of 5. Beckett's favorite area is the water table. I used my cricut to cut out the letters "Playscape" using the scraps of photo leftover from cutting out the images.
This is a race car that sits on one of the levels of the museum, it represents the Indianapolis culture. This is the first time the boys sat in the car. I needed a die cut and found the K& Co. die cuts and reduced the size and then made them 3-d by cutting them out without the tires or steering wheel and using pop stickers to raise them up. I then cut out the wheels leftover and used them as embellishments.
