I'll save your spot bookmark

I am so in love..I LOVE Mr. Bookyworm..actually his name is "Bookyworm" and he is from Digital Delights..and in addition to this cutie you can also get a bookmark sentiment set that also has a bookmark shape...awesome, huh?

Here is my bookmark:
For this bookmark i used MS border punch and a DooHickey tag die.  The cute little tag to the side of Bookyworm is the bookmark reduced to tag size and the sentiment that comes w/the bookmark.  On the back of this bookmark i also used yet another Digital Delights bookmark sentiment.

Not a creature was stirring not even a "mouse"

This little cutie called "Laptop Baby" from Mo's Digital was a freebie for 24hrs..and i was so glad i was able to get her..(thanks Mo!)  I paper pieced the computer.  I also made the sentiment.

Actually, seeing this image reminded me of my granddaughter who was using the IPad by if not before the age 2..and learned her ABC's using it.  Now the coolest thing ever is my non-verbal autistic grandson is using the IPad and Iphone to communicate..baby steps, but it is so exciting!

Here is my card for Mo's Challenge blog: (Distressing challenge)

Grandma's are...

There is a new boat in town..well it's a new Stamp Store to me with a twist..it's called Raisin Boat.  You can rent or purchase stamps.  You should check it out, it is the sponsor for Tuesday Morning Sketches this week.

The card i have made for Tuesday Morning Sketches DT has one of the stamps available at Raisin Boat..this stamp set is called "Grandma's Kitchen" and comes with 16 images and i've used 4 from the set:

I did cut the base off of the cake stand and adhered it to the card and pop dotted the top, to make it more 3-d.  I also used a thinner foam dot on the left and right potholders and a thicker one for the center.  The shelf image had decorative detail that i couldn't cut out, so i cut it off.

The sketch this week from Tuesday Morning Sketches is:

 Copics used:
 shelf- E71, 74, 79
 cake- Y11, 21, YR23
frosting- W1, CB, Stickles/Diamond, Glossy Accents
 potholders- Y11, 21, YR23, R22, B24
 stand- W1, 3 CB Gelly Roll-Stardust

Just Breathe...

Oh i just love this image...but it was a doozie to hand cut and so sad that i had to cut some of the end of the curls off to make it look good because of my hand cutting. :(  Those of you that don't cut, this is such a pretty, pretty image...i actually catch my breath just to look at it.

This card is made for {Pin}spirational challenges:
I didn't use a sketch this time, a card inspired me online.  I did use my MB bubble die cut and an embossing folder for the bubbles i embossed out of vellum.  I added Extreme glitter paint to the bubbles.

This is the {Pin}spirational challenge photo this week:

 Copics used:
 skin- YR000, 00, R14, 20

Friendship grows- goodwill style

Okay, it's out..my favorite place to go is Goodwill..for so many reasons..but cardmaking IS one of them!  For this card my inspiration was a picture frame i picked up...i'll share a picture of it below.

But first i want to say, i made this card for the Card Crafter's Circle blog and this week the challenge is, "Fabric"...and even though i have tons..i used this tiny piece behind the matted frame behind the image..it was on a spool..and it was shiny. :)

Here is my card:
A bit about our sponsor this week at CCC, it is Milk Coffee...the designs as you can see are OOOHH so cute!  And their prize???  3 digis for the winner and one for each in the top 3!  Awesome...

Happy Birthday Little Lady!

Someone pinch me..please. i am so excited to announce that i am on a new design team and i get to use super cute images...The new team i am on is at Digital Delights Blog.

So every Thursday you will want to come back to my blog to see some cute, cute images that you'd so want to have!  Oh and the first Thursday of the month i will also be showcasing one of the new releases by Digital Delights.

Right now i'd like to have you meet "Lara Ladybug":

I printed off the image twice and paper pieced the wings and foam dotted them so they'd be 3-d. I also used Glossy Accents to make the wings shiny.

Time for Preschool

This was a fun card, i made it with my granddaughter in mind.  She will be attending preschool for the first time this year..gheesh, but time flies.  So when i saw this little girl, (even though my granddaughter does not have glasses) i thought to color her just like my granddaughter..and the letter is the first letter of her name..but i am saying it stands for "School".  The image comes from Sassy Cheryl..they have a boy version as well...should've got both as my grandson goes to Kindergarten this year too!

Christmas is Love

I know a lot of my friends have been making Christmas cards already for this year...and i am going to start making some of mine as well.  I've already made a few in July, but now when an opportunity arises i will make a Christmas card as well.  Oh and my color combo for this card is traditional.  The last card that was Christmas on my blog was non-traditional and some of my friends didn't think it looked "Christmas", but that it could be anytime...and that had to do with the image and colors. :)

Here is one of my cards for this year using a precious Mo's image, "In the manger" this one is for my traditional friends:
The sketch i used is from Sketch n Stash, all of the paper but the background was in my stash, it is the first time i've used this image.

Hello, there!

This was rather a fun card/challenge from {Pin}spirational challenges..i actually changed the card in the end.  I had made it a gatefold card to begin with and i didn't like the apple cut in half so i put it back together and made it open on the side.  Oh, and the Pin challenge is a photo w/apple cider/apples.

The image i used is a cute Tilda from Magnolia is called Tilda with Arrow and i also altered her..she had an apple w/an arrow on her head, and it was cute, but not quite what i wanted here.  Usually I don't finish the inside of the card, but with a window like this it's a given.  I even made a scene using Magnolia's Open Gate!!

Here is the card..and i am showing 3 pictures to get the window idea.. :)
