Having some fun coloring this weekend.
I sat down and watched Kit & Clowder's Monthly class for May.
The image doesn't have a background design, Alyce from Kit and Clowder teaches you how to make this background!  It was fun!!

I chose to put this coloring on a Mixed Media Canvas.
I have to tell you a story.
I am creating with limited supplies. So my mixed media smells like coffee.
I used some coffee grounds to get the antique look.
Then i didn't have my stencil modeling paste, and had to come up with something else.
The internet says to use, baby powder, acrylic paint and glue. I do not have baby powder.
This is my combination:  Flour, Decoupage Glue, Acrylic Off White paint.
It worked!

My granddaughter, Sadie (age 8 years old).  Wanted to color up this image i created.  She wasted no time.  It was colored in one night after she got home from school.  I have given her some of my prisma/prima markers.  We've been talking about shading too.  (she used orange lines)

Sadie used a We Are 3  Digital Shop image called, Ladybug Birdie Card Kit. Available here.

So Sadie colored up the image and cut her out and created the card for her.  She loves giving cards to her teacher.  The sentiment is from Miss Daisy Stamps - Beautiful Day Sayings available here.

Fun Friday at Sami Stamps! It's a Beauty!

My intention was to create a Mother's Day card today.

Well, once i colored up Sami Stamps image, Rose Beauty.

I found that my plan had to change.

This Sami Stamps image called "Rose Beauty" reminds me of "Beauty" 

from the Beauty and the Beast.  

Why? Simply because i decided to add yellow.  

What do you think, isn't she gorgeous?

She would still make a lovely Mother's Day card!
