Cricut Witch's Hat Card (2 styles) Hybid cricut and total cricut.
There was a card on the internet, that i loved and i wanted to see if i could make it using the cricut.
The one on the left is "hybrid". I purchased the card(s) in a pack of 8 at a scrapbook store and later found another pack at Archiver's in their hot spot for $1.99. it was just the witch's hat and i added the embellishments.
The orange stars are made using a set of 5 stars found in the
Hannah Montana cartridge. I added more stars to the "loose" stars and welded
them together to make the star strip and then i duplicated that and welded them
together to get a longer strip of stars. You don't have to have the Hannah
Montana cartridge, just a star diecut and you can make your own star strip as
long as you have the gypsy or design studio to weld the stars together. The
flower is from the Forever Young cartridge, but again, you can make any flower.
The Halloween phrase is from Mini Monsters. The yellow scallop square is from
Accent essentials and i cut off the top of the square.
The one on the right is totally made w/the cricut. I cut out the witch's hat
from mini monsters, but, i didn't use the "card" selection in the cartridge, i
welded the images myself, because the way they wanted you to cut it out took too
much paper, i welded it so that it was in a straight line not in the shape of an
"L". The star strip is the same as above, except i only used one set of stars.
The flower came from another diecut that i didn't use. i printed the word
"halloween" on the computer and ran it off on my cardstock.

Owl Family LO
My grandson, Ayden, made his family of owls. We used cinnamon pine cones, pipe cleaners and felt. Ayden picked out the pine cone size for each family member and selected the color of pipe cleaners that we should use. Grandma hot glued the eyes, beak and feet on. She then made the LO for Ayden's scrapbook album. We had a great time.
