Merry Christmas Pizza Gift Box

I've decided for the month of November that i am going to use gift boxes or tags for the challenges that i participate in.  This is the first box I've made for November.
I found this pizza box template at Images by Heather M..  She has a SVG and a printable template.

I also chose to follow the Sweet Stop sketch shown below:

And here is my Pizza Gift Box using an adorable Tiddly Inks image called "Little Miss Sunshine".

Embossing Sweetness with Odette

I have made a card for the TGF Monday Funday challenge using the Sweet Stop Sketch and Pink theme.
Here is the sketch i used:
I turned the sketch on the its side to make my card:
I have also added a bit of embossed vellum behind this image, her name is Odette.  I also colored Odette's skirt to make it look like a tweed fabric.

Santa's List..It's official :)

Last week Monday i had surgery done on my left leg...and this Monday i had the right leg done.  I have had a  case of varicose veins and sitting at the computer and coloring images just wasn't going to be in the "cards" (no pun there) for part of the week as i had to keep my legs elevated and quite frankly, i wasn't in the mood to make cards.

So tonight after the wraps are finally off i can bend my knees...sore legs still, but it's a part of healing.  With the ability to bend my knees and be more mobile, i made this card for The Greeting Farm Fresh Friday Spy Day challenge due on Thursday.

I am casing the following card:

With the card as inspiration i chose to make a "Santa's List" card.  The team has been so kind to me this year with the many positive comments and encouragements.  (I should have put the past team on as well...Leanne from the past team commented on the majority if not all of my submitted cards...she is a sweetheart!)  I just want to say thank you and hope this is a good way.
This card would be a great personalized card, with family members names on the list.

Stitching Thanksgiving card

I am really excited to use the Saturated Canary's Indian digital image called Cornelia...she's adorable.  I am also combining this challenge with a sketch from Cardabilities blog.
Here is the sketch:

And this is what i did:
How i did it?
I used a diecut charm from the Heritage cartridge and welded the "thankful" word on the side.  I added some straight and zig-zag stitching to the card.  I colored and cut out the image and used foam dots on the image to have her pop up.

My favorite Mo's image & step by step challenge #5

Oh my was this easy to pick Mo's favorite image...ha, ha, ha...I don't have a favorite because i LOVE them all!!  So i picked one i had printed off that i wanted to make using paper that looked like Christmas wrap.  So my card this time has a story.  This little boy was so excited to use his "Christmas" box as a car after he opened his gifts.  I also thought the saying could say, "Over the river and through the woods".

(btw i believe the card below is a card from a Mo's DT member, but i am not sure who?) I used the card below as my inspiration to make my card with the boy in the box.  Isn't this a lovely card?

Here is my card and the step by step to make it:
Supplies needed:
5.5 square card base
4.75 x 3" (holly leaves paper)
3.75 x 2.75" (red stripe)
1.5 x 5.5" (green print paper)
3.75 square (brown mat)
3.5" square image
Embellishments- brads. "candy" diecuts/or flowers

1. After cutting out your pieces, turn corners over on the green print and stripe paper as shown.
2. Adhere pieces as shown to cardbase
3. Mat your image as shown and add brads, i ended up only using 3 because i used an embellishment in the bottom right corner.
5. This is what your card will look like before embellishments/sentiment.  To make my image i colored and then paper pieced the "box" to look like Christmas wrapping paper, then i used the same paper for the card background.

Pile of Leaves- Happy Fall card

This is such a cute digital image..i really like it.  The image is from Digi My World and called "Pile of Leaves".  I chose to cut the little girl out twice and made her 3-d by cutting her arms loose and curling them up and curling her legs up as well.  I wanted the illusion of falling into the leaves.  It would be cool to use a spring so that she could "wobble" but couldn't find one that would work.  If you would like to participate in an awesome challenge go to Digi My World blog this week Wednesday to see the challenge.
Here is my card:

Going "retro" Animal card

A month long challenge at TGF Farm Fresh challenge blog is to use "animals" and the stamp must be at least 6 months old.  I am not sure about my stamp's age as i couldn't find the list, but this is what i did for the challenge.
I also used deconstructing jen's sketch shown below:

Halloween is coming, a Grand idea- Tiddly Ink style

How fun is this????  Tiddly Inks challenge blog is having a "Halloween is Coming" challenge and Christy (Tiddly Inks artist/designer) is having a "Grand idea" with a Fall theme.
So this is what i did:
How i did it?
I used the cute "Sugar Angel Halloween" and the "Twisty Tree"  digital images.  I colored and hand cut them out.  I decided to use my gypsy/cricut to cut out the "trick or treat" by welding the words to a circle.

Spark- Glow Worm

Happy, Happy little glow worm image goes perfect with a saying i found online.
Spark the glow worm is found here at the SNB store.
I am also making this card using this sketch at "Try Stampin' on Tuesday" and adding some twine and buttons for the challenge at Digital Tuesday.
Here is the card i made using the image and sketch:
What i did with the twine is use the buttonhole stitch and tied it off.
The saying for the glow worm goes like this:
I wish i was a glow warm,
a glow worm's never glum
'cause how can you be grumpy,
when the sun shines out your bum!  (found this somewhere on line)

TGF Monday Funday sketch challenge

I had an opportunity to try a new technique with my SCAL2 program.  i saw the sketch at TGF Farm Fresh challenge and thought, this looks like a moon to me...so i wanted a silhouette of a witch.  The digital witch worked perfectly in my SCAL2 program...all i had to do is break apart the lines to get my silhouette.  YAY!  I also stamped the image inside of the card.

Happy Birthday

It was my son-in-law's birthday this last week and i made him this card.  I tried to make the person look like my sil.  I did change the image slightly to make it a "Happy Birthday card".  I have shown how the image looked originally and how i have changed it...so that there is no confusion when looking for this image on Tiddly Inks.  All i did was supstitute the ticket, but i also cut around the hands so i could slide the edges of the ticket under it.

New step by step Christmas card #3

For this card i have used a free snowman coloring page image.  I am casing a card i found online...that i had saved.
This is the finished card:
What you will need:
5.5 x 5.5 white card base
5.25 x 5.25 first layer (i used tan w/a white core for embossing)
4.5 x 3.75 pattern paper (i used blue)
6 x 11.5 mat paper (i used red)
Image 3" high (cut at 3 x 3)
2" tan snowflake, 1" tan snowflake, brad and jem for snowflake centers
6" ribbon
3 red gems (or ones to match your card)
Embossing folder- (I used snowflakes)

1. Emboss your 5.24 x 5.24 tan white core paper and emboss..(the folder isn't big enough, so i lined it up and did it twice for the overlap).  Attach to cardbase front.  Mat the pattern paper and image on red paper.
2. Add ribbon to the matted pattern paper and add the matted image on top. (I used foam dots for my matted image).
3. Punch out or die cut your snowflakes.  I adhered them to the matted image/paper and then punched the large snowflake in the middle for the brad.  I added a gem to the smaller snowflake.
4. Now you can place the matted section on your card base that has the embossed paper on it.
5. I  typed up my sentiment using the "Frosty" font and matted that as well.  Then i put 3 gems next to the sentiment.  That's it...it was kind of fun, right?

Have your Cake and eat it too card

I just love this Cake & Candles digital stamp it is SO versatile.  I saw the sketch at deconstructing jen's  for this week and thought....perfect combination!

Here is what i did using the image and sketch: (not a border punch below, but a welded word using my gypsy...see instructions below)

How i did this:
I used my Wild Card Cartridge and welded the words to rectangles to make them like a border punch.  Printed out my image on patterned paper and white paper, cut out the patterned paper and colored in the rest of the image.  Cut the image out and adhered it with foam dots.  Used a bit of baker's twine and glittery blue background paper to give it a celebration feel.

Naughty or Nice card

Well, i made my angel from the "Naughty and Nice" TGF set in my last post and so i chose to use the "naughty" image for the Black and White and one other color challenge found here.

What i did:
I used the Christmas cartridge to make my ornament card base, by welding the "shadows" together.  I then used Plantin Schoolbook to make my circles.  I typed out the lyrics to the song, "Santa Claus is coming to town" using the "Frosty" font and cut that to fit inside the cut circle.  I used one of Bizzy Bec's free circle sentiments to finish off my card found here.

A little bit Merry card

I've been wanting to use this image from Tiddly Inks and i think using this sketch from deconstructing jen works with this image works!
Here is the sketch (that i flipped so that the triangle could be a Christmas tree).

Below is the following supplies i used for this card:
5 x 10" white card base to make a 5"x5" card
4.75 Brown Mat (1st layer)
4.7/8" (or just a sliver smaller than the brown mat) tan patterned paper
3" x 4.5 Brown border mat (border should be cut on the longest side)
*2.5" x 4 3/8" green rectangle
5/8" x 4 15/16" red stripe paper
.75" x 5" brown mat for red stripe paper
*Green Christmas tree die cut measuring 3.75 x 4.25 (unchained in the gypsy and actual size) from Christmas Cheer cart. (Brown Shadow to match measuring the same as above)
2.5 x 1.5" cream rectangle w/ brown mat measuring 1/8 larger
Digital image 2.5" tall
Gems

*not the same tree as i used on the card...and i used two green scraps instead of one piece that i listed in the directions.

1. Put the layers together as shown (listed in the supply list)

Add the rest of the supplies and create this card...I did paper piece the dress on this digital image.
