Hello!

Well, i needed some Hello Kitty paper...and i didn't have any so i searched the web for some free printable paper...and found that etsy shops are selling it...and i thought..surely someone has clip art too...and i found some here.  I then reduced the size and tiled the images to make a 6 x 6 page of paper.  There is a symbol of black knuckles, but i am calling them paw prints. :)  This image isn't a digital image from SC but a Simply Sassy rubber stamp that Krista makes for Funky Kits here.

Some Christmas Tags for you

This week at Card Crafter's Circle challenge blog, we are doing a Christmas theme and i've already made a card with Baby Jesus and w/a mini holly leaf from the Christmas Mini set at Happileigh Scrappin'.  Now i've made 4  Christmas tags using the entire set of stamps.  They are great to add to any card and as you can see...tags too!

Here are my tags:

This is what i did to get the foil affect.  I used Inkssentials Foil tape sheets.  I cut out the size i want and run them through my cuttlebug (dry emboss).  I then backed them with craft paper.  Then i color in the raised areas w/my copics (you can use any alcohol based markers or ink)  Then i wet emboss them to seal them.  I use clear embossing powder. I also added a MS punch, marvy snowflake punch, MS holly leaf punch, Corner it Kit from Lifestyle crafts and Memory box jingle bell border.

Copics used:
Holly Leaf- G24, 28, R37, 89; tag- G28, R89, E08, 34
Snowman- R37, 89, G24, 38, W1 E02, CB; tag- B28, BG18
Jingle bell- R37, 89, G20, 21, 24; tag- R89, G28
Stocking- R37, 89, G24, 28, YG03, G24, W1, 3 CB; tag- R89, E08, 49, RV69

Ah, Yes..Christmas in July

I like the jump start i am getting with Christmas cards this year.  I am starting with the challenge at Card Crafter's Circle, "Christmas in July".  I am using the adorable Jesus, which despite the hay, it was easy to cut out..i just colored the hay "outside the lines" and cut it out randomly.

Here is my card for this challenge:
