This card is a result of 2 combined challenges.
This card wouldn't have been something i'd have chosen to do without these two challenges!

I am using a Power Poppy image called,  Tulips in a Hobnail Pitcher
I love this image, it is the 3rd time i have colored it.
First time using the full image.
I have also used Prismacolor Pencils

Happy Easter Egg and Chicks!

I had colored up this image with the idea that it was going to go on a card with We Are 3 Digital Paper - Spring Brilliance.. beautiful bright colors for spring. It didn't work out.  So plan B was to use just the green from Spring Brilliance, dry emboss it and add some other green paper to the card.

I am using a Digi Stamps 4 Joy image called,  Easter Eggs and Chicks

March Monthly Progressive Image from Digi Stamps 4 Joy

Step 1 - Emboss and sand first layer (green)

Add lace to green "glitter" strip using score tape.

Add foam tape to back of glitter strip and attach

Step 2 - Foam tape and 1st doily layer

Step 3 - Second doily layer

Step 4 - add egg and slip banners under doilies

Card Tutorial Steps using Outlawz Challenge - Wednesday Sketch (March 7)

Supplies needed: 

5.5 x 5.5" card base

We Are 3 Digital Paper - Spring Brilliance

We Are 3 Digital Shop - Baskets

We Are 3 Digital Sentiments - Spring

We Are 3 Digital Paper scraps

Step two - adhere foam tape to paper layers

Use score tape for lace

*tip cut out any paper from under layers to use on cards later.

I cut out the butterfly from this circle and have saved the rest for another card.

 

Step 3 - Attach layers as shown

Step 4- Arrange flowers and add die cuts

Springtime Loveliness!

I love coloring images with a bit of grayscale.

 Ppinky Dolls has the right amount of shading that i really love. 

I have combined two challenges that ended up with this result.

I am using a Ppinky Doll image called,  Girl with Bird

I added lace to the top of a colorful paper.  

The lace toned the colors down and gives a nice texture.

Are you thinking about Spring and Easter, it's not far away!

I am using a My Besties Printable/Image, called IMG 912 and IMG 912-2

I have colored the image with open eyes with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils
The closed eye image was printed on vellum and color with Prismacolor Pencils
to give a soft "shadow look" to this card.
