Fairy Hugs Best Seller - Julia

I am using Fairy Hugs - Julia

For this card i started out with Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - TangleWhisper. Next i did some stamping. First, i stamped Fairy Hugs - Party Lights by stamping the stamp two times across and one time to the bottom side corner. If you look close you can see how i extended the line to the curved line, by using a Copic fine liner, so that the light bulbs didn't over lap. Next i positioned the balloons, Julia and the sentiment so i could get them to fit in the scene. Julia and the sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne and the balloons were stamped in VersaFine Clair Ink - Morning Mist. Last thing is i colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and highlighted everything with a Pental Sparkly Gold Gel Pen. oh, and i added a moon using a cardstock circle mask and Distress Oxide - Chipped Sapphire.

Happy Sneak Peak Day! Fairy Hugs NEW Release - Ann Marie and Mushroom Table

Hello everyone and Happy Sneak Peek Release day!

I am using Fairy Hugs - Ann Marie (fairy)

For this card, I started out using the NEW Fairy Hugs Craft Paper - Bumbletwinkle.

First thing i did was make a mask of the fairy, Ann Marie. Using the acetate that comes with each stamp i made a layout figuring out where i wanted the "main" stamps to go. Once i did that, i stamped Ann Marie. Next i stamped the wooden trunk seat from the Fairy Hugs Sunflower Table set. I kept Ann Marie's mask on and stamped the Fairy Hugs - Mushroom table and the dangly bits as well. Now the mask can come off. Next i stamped, Fairy Hugs - Sweet Treats and from the previous release, i also stamped the Mini Caterpillar on top of the table. Now to fill in some areas, i used the new Ginkgo Branch and from a previous release i used Fairy Hugs - Party Lights by slightly curving the stamp to fit between the Ginkgo Brand and then i stamped Fairy Hugs - Grass. Seeing as i had the Mini Caterpillars out i stamped another one on top of the grass. Last thing i did was use my Prismacolor pencils and gold gel pen to color in the stamps. One other thing i did was "ground" the table/chairs and some grass by adding some distress ink using a torn piece of paper as the "mask".
