Fairy Hugs - Freya's Love at Christmas

Let's see what we can make using supplies from Fairy Hugs Store

I am using Fairy Hugs - Freya's Dogwood (fairy only (set of 3 stamps)

For this card, I started with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - WinkleBush. Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Poinsettias using VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I also stamped the following with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist, Fairy Hugs - Freya's Dogwood (fairy only from this set of 3), Fairy Hugs - Pinecone Branches, and Fairy Hugs - Woodland Flight. Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Love at Christmas was stamped with VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. Next i colored in the images using Prismacolor pencils. I used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Galaxy for the background using Distress Oxide Ink - Picked Raspberry. I used a Prismacolor pencil to outline some of the stars. I also added Pilot's fluorescent yellow gel pen to the centers of the poinsettias, the waistband on the fairy and i dotted some of the stencil stars. Last thing i did was inked the edges of the card with Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Magu

For this card, i started out with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ShimmerGust. This paper inspired the colors and placement of the stamps. I wanted to create a scene where Magu (dragon) was waiting for her treasures to be born. So i created 3 dragon eggs. I hand cut the shapes and painted them with black gesso. Next i used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Rocks and texture paste and Tim Holtz embossing glazes to give the eggs dimension and color. Next i positioned the stamps. I stamped the rocks and pinecone branches by the rocks in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist so i could color them in and so that i didn't have to make a mask of Magu. Next, i stamped Magu in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I also stamped the sentiment and arched pinecone branches in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. Last stamp is the mini castle and i stamped that one in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. Before i add the eggs, i did some coloring. I colored in the rocks and Magu with Prismacolor pencils.
