Olde World Lavinia Feather Card

Hello everyone and happy Thursday!! 

It’s time for a new Lavinia World Challenge featuring Lavinia stamps.

          We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps

(either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps). 

                               Details are found under the "rules" tab on the Challenge Blog.

With one exception...

Your card/project must include anything Lavinia (stamps, papers)

if added to the Anything Lavinia Facebook group. 

For my project, I used
Lavinia Stamps:
Background script - LAV372
Feather - LAV494
Orchid - LAV060
Fairy Dust is Like Love - LAV024

The stamps were all stamped with VersaFine Clair - Nocturne

How i made this card:

Background (first layer)- I stamped Background Stamp and colored in the hearts with Spectrum Noor Metallic pencils.

Light circle - I stamped the Orchid stamp around by arching the stamp on the acrylic block. Then i also colored the flowers in using the metallic pencils.

Blue layer- I used Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste - Crackle and embossed it with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glaze - Fossilized Amber.   I did not heat set it until the paste was dry.

Sentiment was stamped on watercolor paper and immediately embossed with clear embossing powder.

The Feather was stamped on to water color paper as well and immediately embossed with embossing powder as well. Then i colored in the feather spaces with the metallic pencils.

I attached the circles, sentiment and feather with foam tape.

Before i added the feather i used a brad to attach the heart.

I got out my copic pen and drew some squiggly lines around the layers.

Beginning with Lavinia Challenge #14,

is also a place where you may post your cards/projects 

to enter our Lavinia World Challenges. 

Your projects are anything goes if added to the Challenge Blog,  

however your card/project must include anything Lavinia (stamps, papers)

if added to the Anything Lavinia Facebook group. 

For my project, I used

The stamps were all stamped with VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist

Really fun ATC (Artist Trading Card) project.  What i did:

Using Digital paper, i resized it to ATC size 2.5" x 3.5".

Digital Paper allows you to change the scale and 

to crop what part of the paper you want to use.

I printed and cut out the paper, then i stamped Harietta with VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist

using my Misti platform.  Immediately, i used clear embossing powder so that i could

stamp and ink on top of Harietta.  (you can wipe off the ink from the embossed image)

I ripped a strip of paper and used that for inking the background (cloud/mountain look).

Using Tim Holtz Oxide Candied Apple ink, as water color,

 i painted in the "heart shape" Chinese lantern.

Next i stamped the Background Sentiment.

Using Tim Holtz Oxide ink (Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire), i distressed the edges.
I added a black backing to frame out the ATC.
To make the "Love" swing arm, i cut out a Love die from Papertrey Ink and used the negative cut out.
I added vellum to the back of the cut out.

To put it all together, i pulled out a heart brad and hole punched the top left corner so that the Love would swing upwards slightly above the ATC.
