I love it when i can be creative! I've said this before, i envision something and sometimes it turns out like i envision it and others it takes on it's own vision. This is one of those times, when it took on it's own vision.
I am creating this card for Dutch Paper Crafts and the Memory Box Snowflake release. Let me just say that this die set i am using is "To Die For"...it is just gorgeous.
I used Memory Box Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set #98716.
Close up details:
The details on the silver/metal- looking frame is so awesome.
For the card base i used the Grand sized Spellbinders scalloped oval LF-111, i cut the card base off the fold and then cut the scallop one more time out of a kraft pattern paper, then i cut it one more time out of vellum and embossed the vellum using an Anna Griffin embossing folder- 5x7 Poppy. The next layer is Spellbinders Floral oval S4356..the largest one and i used the classic oval to cut out the center to make it a frame and cut it out of antique glitter paper. Then i cut out the Memory Box Peaceful Snowflake frame out of a thick silver metallic cardstock. I used a cream pattern paper for the inside of the frame using the MB Peaceful Snowflake die set, and then i used the small frame and cut it out twice, once out of aqua and then out a cream glitter paper...i put those together slightly off, to give it a shadow. Then i used an adorable angel from A Day for Daisies.
*A tip...the largest frame has snowflakes on the top and bottom of the frame, and at the end there are circles where you can attach threads, ribbons..etc. I chose to use garland and at the bottom threaded some jingle bells.
Image is from A Day for Daises called Snowflake Fairy, she is retired.
