Sherri Baldy's My Besties Soda image- "I Love Everything you DEW"

I really enjoyed creating my first card using Sherri Baldy's My Besties image 049!  That card was a "Cocoa cola" - Coke card. So I decided to create a Mountain Dew card because it is both of my daughter's favorite drink!

Here is my Mountain Dew version using image 049.

You are Soda-lightful!

I love this image 049 holding a soda bottle from Sherri Baldy My Besties it is so versatile and universal.   I have learned that Cocoa-Cola, "Coke" Soda is in most countries.

What i have also learned is that the recipe isn't always the same where ever you travel.  It tastes different.. We lived in Wales, UK for 3 years and i found that Sprite was more fruity and sweet and i preferred 7UP when i lived in Wales.

Of course my absolute favorite drink wasn't in Wales, it didn't even get imported to Wales.  I love A & W root beer and any root beer in Wales was awful!!  On the other hand, Ginger Beer appeared to be super popular in Wales, and i tried it and i wasn't a fan. :)

Another DT, Heather Clarney inspired and challenged me to make a Mini Album 

using a Youtube video tutorial.

I changed up the "flip" pages by using the NEW Printable Seed packets.  

Here is the mini album cover and pages and below the book is the instructions for changing out the inside flip pages!

** Tip- attach a shank button to the cover by punching a hole and adding a paper clip backing.

First flip page.  Seed packet flips to the back (unlike the youtube video)

 (*clothes pin is holding the pages open so i can take photos)

Each page has a seed packet and a pocket art printable

Tutorial for adding the seed packet to the pocket sleeve:

1. Cut out your seed pack and glue the left flap so that it goes inside of the sleeve as shown below. 

2. Then glue the sleeve flap (right side and bottom fold) *Make sure you don't glue the left side so that you can attach it to the book binding

Glue the seed packet together to make the "pocket"

You should now have something that looks like this:

The open end you can see above will now slide over the binding strips below and your "flip" page will look like this when opened on this side.

The page will look like this when opened on the reverse side.

 Room for a photo and journaling. Seed packet can hold a card with more photos. 

Seed packet Paper Clip Art- Reduce the original Printable Seed packets so that the front measures about 1". Glue the paper clip inside the seed packet and then glue the sides.

What a special day! I LOVE My Besties 3D printables!

This is one of my favorite printable My Besties 3D sheets!  All you have to do is cut layer with foam tape and create a lovely card or project!  I love this relaxing craft!
