Frou Frou in Pink

I have purposely combined 4 challenges together before i made my card, it's not always easy to do that before i make cards because when making DT cards they are done in advance..in most cases 2-4 weeks ahead of time.

This card is brand spanking new..just finished.. I am using a stamp from the Greeting Farm called Frou-Frou Birthday.
She is totally done in pink for Cut it Up Challenges and i've added a Spellbinders rectangle called Resplendent Rectangles S5-147 as my dies. I've also used a Martha Stewart leaf punch.

I have also used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday:

Copics used:

Scaredy Cat?

Sami Stamps has made some wonderfully, whimsical Halloween Kitties.  They are digital images and i know it's hard to pick just one from the new release!

The challenge at Sami's Stamps is to us a Sami Stamp and to use Halloween Colors!  Please come and play, we'd love to see what you can create.  Don't forget, Sami always offers a freebie so anyone can play along!

As you know, my style is to cut out the images, so the hardest image for me to do is one that i don't cut out.  This one is one of those images.  I also have a tough time with white space..i look at it and wonder what am i suppose to do?  Well, my team mates have answered that question..wait until you see their cards, too!

The Sami Stamps image i've used for this card is called "Scaredy Cat":

Ok, so i showed this card to my husband, and again i said, "Can you tell what i did?"  He tilts his head, and is a bit clueless...i said, "Does it look like a stamp?"  What do you think, does it?  That was my intention..and i think it was because i wasn't sure what to do with the white space.  The little "Oct. 31/spooky" is part of a pattern paper from Doodlebug (last years Halloween).

I also have used a sketch from Sketchy Colors, an awesome sketch!

Copics used:
cat- C3, 5, 7, CB E02, 50
bat- V04, 06, 09

Here is the entire release, how could you pick just one?

When i saw the new Sami Stamps  Halloween Kitties release, i was in LOVE.  I instantly knew i wanted to use Cozy Pumpkin for my project/card.  Of course, i am a sucker for an image that i can cut out easily too..so if any of you want to give it a go..this is the perfect image to cut out.

The challenge at Sami's Stamps is to us a Sami Stamp and to use Halloween Colors!  Please come and play, we'd love to see what you can create.  Don't forget, Sami always offers a freebie so anyone can play along!

I am so excited about this image that i made two cards..this one is a very detailed card, the other card, i will share in another post:

Before Prima Julie Nutting's Paper doll stamp there was.....

Did you know that Christy from Tiddly Inks made these cute digital images that can easily be used just like the Prima Julie Nutting Paper doll stamps?

The digital image i've used on my card is called "Bev" and she has been retired, i think she should come out of retirement because she's so very cute.  I have paper pieced her dress and hair accessories.

*One thing you need to look closer at is the technique that is used on Julie Nutting stamps, and that is, they are stamped with a lettering stamp and then colored.  I did that with this image.  I am thinking that a tighter font stamp might be better, but i really like this look.

The dies i've used on this card are from Memory Box.  The frame is one of the newer frame sets called Peaceful, Snowflake Frame #98716, the tiny bird is also a set of birds from Memory Box called Resting Birds #98527, and the poinsettia is a die from Poppystamps called Poinsettia Blooming S861.  The leaf is from another Memory Box dies set called Sonora Rose #98572.

As always, you can check Dutch Paper Crafts for the above dies availability..again, they have the best prices!

I am using a wonderful sketch from Christmas Challenges w/sketches.  They don't allow anyone to share their sketch...it's worth checking out though here.

Copics used:
skin- YR000, 00, R20
hair- C3, 5, 7
