This week at Anyone For Anya we have a Inspirational Photo..and oh boy, do i like strawberries..

I am thinking for this challenge you could use the colors from the inspirational photo..it would be Christmas colors..or you could use strawberry paper like i did..or just a total strawberry traditional theme.. can't wait to see what you all come up with..as always we have an awesome sponsor!

Something Lacy with Mad Hatter Bean

How what fun to use this image again..i love the hats!
This week at Anyone for Anya, we are to use LACE, so fun..i used it for my background paper, and a piece of cotton trim lace that i colored with copics to match the hat!

Here is my card this week for the DT:
I added a bit of glitter blue tulle to the hat.  I made a slit using an artist knife and gathered a bit of tulle and slid it under the brim.  I colored the cotton trim/lace the same color as the hat using my copic markers.

I've also used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches..that expires today, but you still have time to use this sketch!
 Copics used:
 skin- YR000, 00, R20, 22
 hair- E71, 74, 77

Ahoy Matey!

I know i just made a pirate card...but not the "girl" version...and i HAD to combine this challenge because the theme (Pirate) and the sketch worked so very well with each other..i hope you think so too. :)

Here is my card...and it has a special flap...(that i hope looks like a sail)..

Wishing you health, happiness and prosperity.

This was a great challenge, again i was able to combine two challenges into one...it was perfect!

My thought process usually steers towards the more "challenging" part of a challenge and that was doing the "Asian theme" for Anyone for Anya's challenge.  Why?  I don't own the one stamp that is Asian at TGF or CC...so...i had to put my thinking cap on.  LOL

Here is my card:

What did i do???
Well i looked at some images online and decided to make a "Chinese Dragon" using Cheeky Kitty from TGF.  I drew some triangles on her tail and at the top of her head...to change her into a dragon and then i tried to color her like the pictures below:

This is the sketch i used from TGF Splitcoast Stampers

"Whooshing" you a Happy Birthday!

I got a new toy from my friend, Jenee.  It's an "Action Wobble" found here.  You are thinking, what is an "Action Wobble"...it came out a while ago, but i just got to play with one and i am soo excited to see what i can do with my cards!  You need to check out my youtube video...it's really short, but makes this card really fun and interactive!

Here is my card:

And this is what it does...it moves...awesome!
Here is the video from youtube where you can watch my card in action:

Gray skies are gonna clear up...

Put on a Happy Face. :)  I had wanted to use the sentiment, "You make me smile", but my husband thought the image was a bit sad...so i went with this sentiment instead.

Here is my thought process....the challenge at TGF Farm Fresh is to use Primary colors and Anyone for Anya had a sketch and i thought ah..ha...i will combine the two...and for some reason "clown" came to mind and that's probably because of the paper i had found to use for my card...looked like the awnings on circus tents....well in my imagination it did. :)

So then i had to find an image that i could make into a clown at TGF...I liked this little girls curly hair and the overall look, i thought it could work.  Now, originally i was thinking pompom nose, but i didn't have one...so i punch a glitter circle and used a foam dot.  I did use my multi-liner to  extend the creases in the mouth.  Otherwise, i colored it as is.
I must say that i used the Wavy Sentiment banner technique shown by Farmer Larissa on the TFG  blog here.

This is what i came up with....

This is the sketch i used from "Anyone for Anya":

If you had 4 different challenges...

Okay, i have 3 different challenges i want to combine as one...this IS a challenge...it's kind of a puzzle that you have to put together.  Okay so here are the three challenges...What would you do???

First Flutter By Wednesday wants you to use this recipe AND to make sure you have a butterfly/fairy or angel on your project:
L= 2 or more Layers
O= have an Odd number of embellishments
V=have the color Violet on your creation
E= you can use any color Except red
Second Anyone for Anya Challenge blog wants you to use this photo as inspiration:

Third a Sketch from Sketchy Colors Challenge Blog:
And this is what i came up with: (she does have a bit of violet in dress "shading", 5 pearls on her crown, and 3 pearls on the large butterfly)

How i made this TGF image:
First i flipped the image so i could get a reverse side of the skirt...then i cropped the skirt layer that would go on the left side...and copy/pasted it several times...i did the same to the right side of the skirt.
Then i cut out the top part of the image and the left side of the skirt and the legs.  I then dry embossed the skirt pieces and cut them all out.  Then i adhered the top part of the image onto the gray paper using foam dots so i could tuck the skirt under as i went.  Then i added the legs.  Kind of cool, i have a whole new image and one that looks like the dress from the challenge...i hope.

I guess all of this would make more sense if you could see the original stamp.  Her name is Cheeky Beauty and found here.
I thought she'd be cute for confirmation too.
