Ahoy! It's a sketch!

This stamp set from The Greeting Farm has been out for a bit.  I just bought it though...and decided to use it for the sketch challenge and some summer challenges.  I didn't go with the white outfit because i felt like coloring....and white is fun for a quick card.   I am not quite sure if Oliver would like being in yellow, but i am thinking he is more "vintage" looking today. LOL

Here is my card:
A couple special dies that i used, the star which is super fun to use on cards right now or any time you need to change out a doily.  This star is from Nellie Snellen and is called Multi frame Stars MFD050.  What is cool about this die is you can have just the star dots cut out for stitching or a back ground and then it has the plain star, which when put with the dots makes what i did in this card.  There are three sizes plus a cute little button star in this set.  Then i used an anchor from Marianne Dies #LR0232...i LOVE this die and how it embosses...it's not just for beach scenes as the anchor can be used for any "anchor" type sentiment.  This die comes with a starfish as well, and i've used it many times on my card..it looks awesome cut out with sparkle paper.  Anyway, if you want a great deal on the dies and the best shipping you need to visit Dutch Paper Crafts...right now the store is in transition, to make it even better...there is a new email for sales..so go and check out the blog for that info.

  1. Really cute card, and I like the yellow outfit -- much more colorful than white (smile). Those are great dies and perfect for your card! You always do such a wonderful job of incorporating your dies into your designs -- I need to do that more as I have lots of great ones, too.
