Tutti Designs - 553 Mini Fairies Set

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

I am calling this a combination card.  

I am using Tutti Design dies with Fairy Hugs Stamps. I love the result!

So i started with We Are 3 Digital Paper - and added a moon to the background with a circle mask and Distress Oxide ink.  I also used a Fairy Hugs Stencil - Swirls to the background using Distress Oxide. Next i cut out the cute Tutti Designs - Mini Fairy and Tutti Designs - Season's Greetings and figured out where i wanted her to go by positioning the Fairy Hug stamps and the Tutti Designs - Season's Greetings foliage.  The Season's Greetings die is a circle die with a sentiment in the middle.  I cut the top part of the foliage off to use on this card.  So once i had an idea where everything would go, i started stamping the Fairy Hugs flowers. Next i glued on the Season's Greeting foliage. Because i was going to add foam tape to the fairy i knew i need to stamp the Fairy Hugs sentiment first. I also needed to add the Fairy Hugs - Butterflies before i added the fairy. Now i can add the fairy to the card using foam tape.  Last thing is to color in the flowers and add som color to the die cut foliage.

Fairy Stamper - Fairy Hugs Moana drifting among the flowers

Fairy Hugs - Moana drifting among the flowers

This was a fun card to create!  You start out with Fairy Hugs Background Paper - Slim Line Savannah.  Then you change out the bottom ink using Distress Oxide Ink - Faded Jeans.

Stamp Fairy Hugs - Moana and Fairy Hugs Leafy Canoe on another piece of paper using VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne and emboss both stamped images with clear embossing powder.

Fussy cut both stamped images out.  Make a small slit in the boat so that you can tuck Moana inside.

Position Moana and the boat where you want it on your card, but do not add her yet.  You need to get some stamping done in your stamp platform first. 

I used Fairy Hugs - Fantasy Flowers, Fairy Hugs - Wild Leaves and Fairy Hugs - Leafy Scrolls.  After i stamped them with VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne, i also heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  Now you can add Moana and her boat.  I used double sided foam tape.

Fairy Hugs - Azalea - A lovely day to swing!

   Hello everyone and Happy Friday!! 

Let's see what we can make using Fairy Hugs Store supplies! 

As you know, Fairy Hugs - Azalea is one of my favorite Fairy Hugs stamps!

 

For this project, i started out with a Fairy Hugs Background paper - Lavender Dilly. What i did was cut out the center of the paper. (Save the outside to use on another card)

I needed figure the placement of Fairy Hugs - Azalea so her wings would fit on the circle as she sat on the Fairy Hugs - Fairy Swing.  The best way to do that is to use the acrylic sheets that come with the stamps.  I place them both down on the circle and "eye" where they go using my stamping platform.  With the stamping platform i can always adjust the stamps to line up with the acrylic sheets.  It doesn't have to be perfect. I stamp both of the stamps and heat emboss them with clear embossing powder.  Now i arrange the Fairy Hugs - Fairy Scrolls around the outside to make the swing look like it is in tree.

Now you can stamp the tops of the Fairy Hugs - Fantasy Flowers below Azalea.   So what is fun about the Fairy Hugs stamps is that there are places where you can color in the images if you want.  So for Azalea, i colored in her wings with Prismacolor pencils to match the colors of the paper. I added the same color to the Fantasy Flowers and a bit to Azalea's flowers in her hair.   I matted this circle on black paper.  Have you noticed the background?  It is a Fairy Hugs Stencil - Pebble Beach.  I used Distress Oxide Ink - Pumice Stone.  I used one layer to cover the entire background and came back with the stencil and the same ink to make it look subtle!  I love the stencil look in the background! Now you can layer up your circle and stenciled background.  I did mat the stenciled background on metallic paper and placed it all on a black card base!
