It's nice to create cards and have no other reason than you enjoy creating them.  No obligation..just plain fun.

That is what i did for this card.  I saw a My Besties image 970 i liked that had been sitting in my "want to color" pile and just did it!!! 

So i always like a bit of inspiration.. and this image screamed "make me a clown"..so i did..and then i remembered this cute elephant and he joined the card too.

You can see i had some fun..

Doesn't she make a sweet Valentine?  I think this image really was intended for the summer season with the dragonflies, but i think with the wings colored like "hearts" it makes it perfect for Valentines day.

I was coloring up this Bestie and needed some inspiration for a card and found out from my friend that the Spanish My Besties had a card sketch, so i thought i'd give it a try and add this card to a couple challenges.

I think this image is just so adorable..really reminds me of what it was like when i wore snowpants over 50 yrs ago.  Of course i never got to just go out with a sweater.. Michigan weather in the winter called for a coat too!

Hi all, it's a great new start to the year?  I hope so for you all.
Mine started in Disney World..whew..that place sure is busy on New Year's Eve day... Then we came home and had a 2 hour school delay (grandkids) from snow and cold temps.

So i was so ready to do some coloring and i made this card using My Besties image called: Heart Bestie found here.

Sherri Baldy's My Besties International Christmas Event- Your own personal digi image!

Today at My Besties International i am sharing a card i made with an image that was designed by Sherri Baldy of my granddaughter.

This is really exciting..i don't know if you know that Sherri Baldy will design digital images by request (and time availability).  This image is an example of how Sherri designs images.  Link to this image 347 here.

My Besties Bottlecap printable release- Winter wonderland

I was invited by my a new My Besties friend, Chantale, from Quebec Canada to create something with a My Besties printable Bottlecap release for a Challenge at the My Besties French Challenge Blog here. 

I have chosen to make a Winter wonderland card using this super cute My Besties bottlecap! My Besties Bottlecap printables can be found here.

What are some of the dies i have used:
White doily, cream doily and birdcage- Memory box or Poppy Stamps
Snowflake not sure anymore.
Pine ferns might be Doo Hickey or Memory Box.

I have used Mod Podge Dimensional Magic and Stampendous glitter and a gem inside of my bottle cap.  Snow covered flowers and glitter flowers are from Petaloo. The white flower in the center is from Michaels bargain bins.

I made the Clay/foam frame around the bottlecap using a Crayola Air dry clay that dries quickly using a silicone frame mold.

That's right, Sherri Baldy has released Printable tags with some of your favorite My Besties images.  These tags are available at Scrapbook Stamp Society here.

You might be thinking..what am i going to do with a tag??? ... well let me show you some ideas and then hop on over to the My Besties 3D Challenge Blog where the team has even more ways to use your tags!

Here is a fun idea..turn them into Gift Card Holders.. i have two ways to do that and i have included instructions also.

 

How to make a gift card using a printable tag:

Crop one of the tags and enlarge it to 2.80" (you will have a bit of white around the image. Place the image at the top of the paper (paper direction should be horizontal). I used cardstock weight paper. Fold the paper in half just below the outline..as shown in the photo. Hand cut around the tag..leaving the fold on the bottom. If you want the slanted front..just cut on the diagonal and add some paper border or lace. Trace around your tag to get the inside liner. Tape the the side only of the mailbox card. tape the bottom and side on the tree card. Hole punch at the top and add ribbon etc. Embellish.

My Besties Dutch Girls Birthday Celebration!

As soon as i saw that the My Besties Dutch Girls were having a Birthday Celebration, i wanted to participate.   However, this has been a really busy time, with the grand kids going back to school.  I had picked up this clock at a charity shop with the intentions of using it for this challenge of "Anything but a card". 

Seeing as i picked up the clock at a charity shop on the west side of Michigan, it wasn't surprising that i found a tulip themed clock, seeing the area is Dutch/American.
