Would you like to join in the fun??? Click here for all the info!
Once you have purchased your Flip Flops Card Kit at a reduced price THIS WEEKEND ONLY for $1 you can come back here and get some inspiration!
To inspire you to create with your Flip Flops Card Kit, you will find below is a step by step instructional photo tutorial, and for those of you that like a video view there is also a Youtube video with MORE inspirational ideas to decorate your Flip Flops!
Here is one way you can create with your Flip Flops from the card kit:
1. Print off several Flip Flops on 8.5" x 11" cardstock- Flip Flops size shown is roughly 2.75"
You will want to print two sets for each set of flip flops you want to make. Shown below i will end up with a set of 6 Flip Flops.
2. Cut the paper in half and emboss on section as shown. I had to cut the strip smaller to fit into my embossing folder. I used Cuttlebug's woven folder. For the second set of printed flip flops, you can color the thongs only.

3.
Cut out your embossed flip flops for your base. Now cut out the
colored thongs only. Put a small amount of glue on the thongs, at the
top and two ends. I slightly curl the centers so they will stand up and
look a bit like flip flops in 3D. (see the video below for how i do
that)
I
have used, Wild Orchid flowers, sequins and Tim Holtz teeny tiny screw
brads, embroidery flow and sequins, graduated sizes of pearl/gems, seed
beads with sequins, Martha Stewart butterfly punch with pearls.

Tomorrow i will show how you can use these Flip Flops as embellishments on cards!
