I am using a Catherine Pooler Stamp Set called,
Oh What Fun!
You can find
Catherine Pooler Stamps, Dies and Ink at 7 Kids Store

What i did to create this card:
I stamped the images (mittens, skates and sled) with VersaFine Clair - Fallen Leaves onto
140lb watercolor paper.
Then i created some "paint" using Catherine Pooler ink to create the wood color.
How i did that was to stamp the ink pad on my work surface and spritz it with water.
To make the wood color i mixed, Party Dress and Shea Butter and a touch of Spruce.
Then i "water colored" the sled.
I used Mint to Be and Spruce on the skates and Party Dress on the mittens.
Once the images dried, i shaded them using Prismacolor pencils and added a Gelly Roll Pen (dark silver) to the parts of the sled, mittens and skates that stamped solid. i also added the Gelly Roll to the blades of the skates.
I hand cut each image and layered them on top of each other to get the arrangement.
I stamped the sentiment with a clear ink onto the watercolor paper and immediately used clear embossing powder. Then i die cut the sentiment. I then took the Party Dress ink and water colored on the entire die cut. I didn't directly paint over the sentiment, but probably did paint on some of it. It can be wiped off with a cotton swap and water if need be.
Then i used Prismacolor pencils and shaded around the outside of the diecut..avoiding the sentiment.
This is a shaker card too. I cut out the center of the designer paper for the top layer of your card. (I used knitted paper from We Are 3 Digital shop called - Toasty Warm Neutral) (save the circle). This is the best time to distress the edges of your top layer. I used Catherine Pooler, Spruce and Art Alchemy Wax - Brushed Iron. This is a good time to add some snow by using some cream acrylic paint and splattering the card layer. Next I added lace to the back of the opening.
I recycled a corrugated box by cutting it out twice and diecutting the circle to match with the top layer so that it would make the raised part of the shaker.
I glued the layers together and put the cut out circle i had saved from the card base layer on the base of the card, making sure to line it up with the top layers.
Before i glued the shaker layers down to the card base i added my shaker bits. (Make sure the shaker bits will not go through the lace you use..sequins usually work)
Now you can glue your shaker layer to your card base.
Die cut a wreath (or any circle design) from the watercolor paper.
I used a Marianne Designs die - CR1387
Now you can add the sentiment and the sled as shown in the photo or arrange to your liking.
