I love little "Fairy Gardens"
I wanted to try something new using a clear stamp!
I hope you like it!

I am using Mama Elephant - Pine and Posey stamp ( on the cup.)
What did i do:
First i stamped the image on a piece of white tissue paper using VersaFine Clair - Nocturne.
*Tip make sure if your paper is coated on one side to stamp on the dull side and not the shiny side.
Next get out your Prismacolor pencils and color up the image. Remember you are coloring on
tissue paper and you need to take care how you color.
I found myself holding the image down using my thumb and forefingers to keep the paper taught.

Prisma Pencils used:
Berries- 925 Crimson Lake, 922 Poppy Red
Pomegranates - 925 Crimson Lake, 922 Poppy Red, 921 Pale Vermilion, 942 Yellow Ocher
Holly - 109 Prussian Green, 1020 Celadon Green, Red Gell Pen
Mistletoe - 907 Peacock Green, 913 Spring Green
Fat Leaves (middle of image) - 912 Apple Green, 1089 Pale Sage
Skinny Leaves - 1097 Moss Green
Pine Cones - 946 - Dark Brown, 945 Sienna Brown
Mistletoe berries, gems - Gold Gell pen
Next i cut out the image leaving a bit of white. Then i brushed on some mod podge onto the cup and carefully laid the image on top of the mod podge. *Tip, you will not be able to adjust the paper once you have laid it down on the mod podge, it will tear.

The cups i used were not as wide as the stamp so i stamped the image twice and added another strip. You can see how i added the second strip by looking at the bottom cup on the right. * Tip - Do not overlap the images because the white tissue paper is not transparent and will cover the image...leave a slight gap.
Once the image is adhered to the cup, i put a layer of mod podge on top of the image and let it dry. I do mod podge the entire area on the cup, even the space without the image to make sure it seals the edges.
I added white stones to the base of the cups, then layered with sand and then cut glass.
I did use hot glue to adhere the trees, deer and candy canes "in place". They are not adhered well and can be pulled out easily. If you would like something more permanent, i would use white Styrofoam (adhere that to the bottom of the cup) and then add the trees and deer and hot glue them. Then i would add the cut glass only to the top. The white styrofoam will make it seem like snow under the cut glass.
