I am using Fairy Hugs - Fairy Flower

For this card, i started out using Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - TumbleShine.  This paper is really unique with a design or a scene in a circle.  That leaves the outside to be decorated or left plain.  I chose to use Fairy Hugs Stencil - Party Streamers with Distress Oxide Ink - Pumice Stone.  Fairy Hugs - Cara and the sentiment were stamped in VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne and the fairy was colored in with Prismacolor pencils and highlighted with a sparkly gold gel pen and the wings were painted with a hologram acrylic paint.  Next, i stamped the flower, flower accessories (hearts) and heart vines with VersaFine Clair Ink - Morning Mist.  And i also colored those in with Prismacolor pencils and gold gel pen and highlighted the top of the flower with the hologram paint.

New Release Fairy Hugs - Foliage Swirl

 Hello everyone and Happy Sneak Peek Day!! 

Fairy Hugs will be sharing a new release on January 10, 2022

The new release will be launching on The Craft Store in the UK as well as in the Fairy Hugs Store.

Let's see what can be made using the New release from Fairy Hugs! 

For this card i started out with a Gel print.  I auditioned the stamps using the acetate from the stamp packaging so i could figure where to in the moon halo. I die-cut a circle and used it as a mask for the halo.  I used Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire.

Next, i made a mask of the fairy, Cara.  Then i stamped her in position using the acetate for placement.

Now i mask the stamped Cara image so that i can stamp the Foliage Swirl on top of her making her look like she is "sitting" in the foliage.  I remove the mask to reveal her sitting in the foliage. Next i stamp the sewn hearts (i used 2 from the set and stamped them to look like they were one).

I wanted to "anchor" the Foliage Swirl so i tore some paper and made a hill using Distress Oxide - Crushed Olive and Mowed Grass. Now i color in the images using Prismacolor pencils.
