There is something in the air about to happen.. i can feel it! Fairy Hugs - Fairy Nest

Let's see what we can make using supplies from Fairy Hugs Store 

I am using Fairy Hugs - Fairy Nest

For this card,  i started with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - FrostFlight.  I knew i wanted to go with a purple theme and this paper worked great!  First thing i stamped was Fairy Hugs - Fairy Hive. I stamped it in two colors, VersaFine Clair - Monarch for the base of the "house" and VersaFine Clair - Rain Forest for the roof/greenery.  I then colored it with Prismacolor pencils. Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Clovers, Bees and Sewn Hearts with VersaFine Ink - Morning Mist and colored those in with Prismacolor pencils as well. Last i added a bit of Gold Sparkly gel pen to the bee bodies and the hive.

I always like to add glitter to wings so i used my favorite acrylic paint from Folk Art.  It is an Extreme glitter paint and it dries clear.

Tutti Designs - Lovely Heart Grass and Fairy Hugs - Friendship

Hello!  Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!

I started out with a gel print paper that i turned into digital paper.

I cut out the Tutti Designs - Lovely Heart Grass from the "green" paper and used that on another card i have shared.  I placed that paper onto another paper(matted paper) and zig-zagged around the edge of the green paper. Then i cut out the die again from a cream paper and inlaid it into the negative space. Next i cut out just the hearts from Lovely Heart Grass in pink (save the tiny hearts from the centers) and added those on top of the cream die cut.  I have not added the card topper to the black card base yet.  I needed to hole punch on each side of the Lovely Heart Grass so i could add some brown twine.  I left the twin long so i could add the tiny tag to the twine.   I added the saved tiny hearts to the tag.  I wanted to fill in the spaces to the left of the die cut so i pulled out 3 Fairy Hugs stamps and stamped those.  I wasn't happy with my stitching in the right top corner so i added some of the Tutti Designs - Stitched Nesting Banners. 

Now i adhered the card topper to the card base.  I added some glitter paint to the bee's wings and gold glitter pen to the bee's body stripes. I also colored in the one sewn heart and added glitter paint to that as well.

New Release Fairy Hugs - Foliage Swirl

 Hello everyone and Happy Sneak Peek Day!! 

Fairy Hugs will be sharing a new release on January 10, 2022

The new release will be launching on The Craft Store in the UK as well as in the Fairy Hugs Store.

Let's see what can be made using the New release from Fairy Hugs! 

For this card i started out with a Gel print.  I auditioned the stamps using the acetate from the stamp packaging so i could figure where to in the moon halo. I die-cut a circle and used it as a mask for the halo.  I used Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire.

Next, i made a mask of the fairy, Cara.  Then i stamped her in position using the acetate for placement.

Now i mask the stamped Cara image so that i can stamp the Foliage Swirl on top of her making her look like she is "sitting" in the foliage.  I remove the mask to reveal her sitting in the foliage. Next i stamp the sewn hearts (i used 2 from the set and stamped them to look like they were one).

I wanted to "anchor" the Foliage Swirl so i tore some paper and made a hill using Distress Oxide - Crushed Olive and Mowed Grass. Now i color in the images using Prismacolor pencils.
