ABC (anything but a card) challenge- Baby Milestones

Arghhhh....take 3...i just realized that the image below, was missing it's bow when i took the picture, i think i FINALLY, have it right in this picture...This is what happens when you do things away from home...things fall off and i do things in a hurry and misspell words...I think this is it...sorry.
I've corrected my first box i made, below i misspelled the word "milestones" and my friend, Sara was kind enough to point that out. I guess it's what happens when you aren't fully charged. :) I also, had misspelled the title for this post and have corrected that as well.

I found this metal recipe box and added some patterned paper, buttons, ribbons and cute teddy bear image. I thought it would be a great place to store milestone notes, as they happen for our new grandson that will be born in August. I can then take the "notes" and use them as reference for his scrapbook or use the actual cards in his scrapbook.

Dustin Pike- Party in Colors

This challenge is to use 2 colors from the challenge's blog header. I choose to use Orange and Blue. I printed the image on Kraft paper to give the brown. I also made this card a "swing" card using a brad at the top.

A Day For Daisies- Dots and Stripes Challenge

This was so hard to take a picture one is w/flash and the other without...
This is such a sweet image. It was so fun to color her.

Mad Money Teacup Easel Card

I was really excited to try this new shape easel card. I used my cricut to make the card using Dreams do come true cartridge. I welded the teacups together added another teacup and then added the layer teacup. i stitched around the last layer to make a pocket to hold the "gift" (money). I added the Greeting Farm Mad Hatter and teacup to the card for the "mad" theme.

Designed 2 Delight Card Challenge - Bullfrogs & Butterflies

For this card i put the sentiments in the background by making them a light gray. I used my copics and then i distressed the edges and stitched around the edges, embossed it and added a ribbon.

Cupcake wrappers Easter gifts

Just another idea for a child's bucket. Fill it with Easter goodies and add a Critter to the front of the bucket.

I used Cindy Loo and Create a Critter cartridge for this project. The cupcake wrappers fit around baskets, buckets and flower pots. They would also make nice Mother's day gifts w/flowers. There could be many variations. Add a few extra butterflies and make it 3-d.

Stamping Sampler Template teacup submissions

I submitted all of the following cards for the tea cup template challenge and the one that was published is above. I embossed the dots, handle and bottom of the cup. I also stitched the tulle inside of the cup to look like coffee/steam.

DP2 Challenge Card, How does your garden grow?

Thinking of you. I made the cloud/grass embossing folder from a cuttlebug/cricut kit. The "sun" is a shell embossing folder i just placed the paper on the "lines" to turn it into the sun. I also used tan patterned Japanese Washi tape around the embossed edges.
