Hello everyone and Happy Saturday!!
Let's see what we can make using Fairy Hugs Store supplies!
I am using Fairy Hugs - Fifi
For this card, i started out with white card stock and stamped the right side of the floral "frame".
In order to get the "curved" design, i need to manipulate the stamp on the stamp platform to curve.
You can also use a stamping block. I stamped Fairy Hugs - Wild Flowers in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I stamped Wild Flowers again in Distress Oxide Ink - Tumbled Glass to get a "shadow" affect. Before i stamped the Fairy Hugs - Frilly Branches i stamped Fairy Hugs - FiFi. That helped me know where to place the rest of the stamps on the left and the last stamp in the floral frame. Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Frilly Branches in Versa Fine Clair - Nocturne.
I repeated the stamping of the foliage on left side of the floral "frame". What i did next is color in the Fairy Hugs - Wild Flowers bloom with Prismacolor pencils. Now on to the background. I used a blending brush and Distress Oxide Ink - Pumice Stone. I do something different..i mist the blending brush and pick up the ink from the pad and rub it across the card stock. It is faint but it adds color. I decided to go with the "bubble" theme and used Fairy Hugs Stencil - Pebble Beach two ways. First, i used molding paste and added the circles to the top left and bottom right. While, the molding paste was still wet, i added Distress Embossing Glaze - Speckled egg. That has to dry before you can heat emboss it. This technique gives a ceramic type gloss to the molding paste. Next, i used the Pebble Beach again and Distress Oxide - Pumice Stone, but in the traditional way of using ink and a blending brush. I decided that FiFi needed to be a bit more "grounded" and added a place for her to be sitting by using a piece of torn paper and Pumice Stone. You can see i also used a corner punch for the corners and i added a bit of color to FiFi's wings using Prismacolor pencils.
