Hello! Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!
Well, you know when i start using a die, i have the positive and negative and it drives me crazy not to use the negative. You've already seen both the positive and negative cards i have created recently.. here is yet another one, but it is a bit different than the ones i have shared so far.
So, the positive cut out i haven't shared yet, it will be coming in another post.
For this card i used a decoupage glue.. it made it way easier to attach the negative to the background..but because i used digital paper printed from an ink jet printer, it also changed the color of the purple and blue papers to a darker hue.
So this card is really an easy card to make as well, just die cut out the deer die (i used a 4 x 4 square), making sure to save the small negative bits too. I saved out the positive, like i said, for another card. Next you use the mod podge/decoupage glue on the back of the negative cut out and glue it onto another piece of paper, in this case i used a royal blue paper. You always have a bit of seepage from the glue and it changes the color of the digital paper, so i just went ahead and added the decoupage glue lightly to the entire top of the diecut layers. I matted this entire layer to white cardstock to off set it from the background snowflake paper.
Next i added foam tape to the back and adhered it to the snowflake layer paper.
For some added interest, i added snowflakes and a fir branch Tutti die. Then for some "bling" i added pearls and gems.
