My inspiration for this card was the die i had been wanting to use from Studio Light. It is a fancy tag that i turned into a card by folding my paper and placing the die just above the fold. Then i cut the die again full size and placed it on top of the folded card base. I cut out the inside die layer and did some stamping using VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I colored in the fairy and the music part of the tree. Next i ink blending the background and i used a Fairy Hugs stencil too!

I am using Fairy Hugs - Winter Chalet
For this card, I started with Kraft paper and did some stamping. I used VersaFine Clair - Nocturne for my ink. Once the images were stamped i used Distress Oxide Ink - Chipped Sapphire to make the inky background. Then i colored in the stamps with Prismacolor pencils, white gel pen and a gold glitter gel pen.
Hello! Let's see what you can create with Tutti Designs today!
Earlier this week on my blog, i shared a Fairy Hugs card using this same layout design. This time i used Tutti Designs dies to create this card. I love this look as much as the Fairy Hugs card.
To see how i created the background wreath, you can watch my youtube tutorial video. It also shows how i put a similar card together.
Here is that link : https://youtu.be/06NY4B1_QnE
How i changed out this card.. i started with Tutti Designs Craft Paper - Holiday Wishes. The gray background is faux embossed paper and the green/black paper is also from Holiday Wishes. So the first thing i did was make the wreath background. Then i cut out Tutti Designs - Magical Castle from white glitter paper. If you look at the original design, you can see i cut the castle out from the background. I saved the swirly bits and added those to the card in the end. However, i also cut the castle in 3 sections because i wanted it to be dimensional. There are two partial slits/cuts on each side of the center part of the castle. I made the sections using those cuts by cutting them all the way from the bottom to the top. If you know me, by reading.. you know i like to save paper, so i glued the two outside pieces to the green/black paper mat in the center because i wanted the castle to have a backing. I arranged those two side pieces to that the middle piece could over lap the sides. I used double sided foam tape for the center piece and attached that. I made a tiny hole by the castle in the middle of the mat and hand cut the castle out leaving a bit of the green paper showing. (you can see that by looking at the castle on the card). Next i put the torn wreath section on top of the cut out hole from the castle. i cut out Tutti Designs - Pinecone Branch from brown paper and cut it in 3 sections after i cut the rectangle line off of the pinecone branch. So i figured out the castle placement and how the pinecone branches would work before i adhered them to the card. I used double-side foam tape for the castle and tucked in the pinecone branch sections and adhered those with glue. Those curly bits from the castle die cut, i trimmed up and glued those in as well.
To start with, i used Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - TangleWhisper. The first thing i did was use Fair Hugs Stencil - Woody. I inked up one side with Distress Ink - Chipped Sapphire and spritzed it with water. Then i "stamped" with it on top of the paper. I let that dry and then i stamped Fairy Hugs - Winston with VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne and i colored him in with Prismacolor pencils. Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Fairy Liana with VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I then stamped Fairy Hugs - Love Birds in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I colored Fairy Liana and the Love Birds with Prismacolor pencils. I added Fairy Hugs Sentiment - Fairy Words (Hello) with VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I added a bit of white and gold gel pen to the word, Hello.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Raphael
Another simple fun card! I started out with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - TumbleShine. Beautiful paper with a printed circle design waiting to be stamped!
Next i stamped, Fairy Hugs - Raphael with VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. i also colored him in with Prismacolor pencils. Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Frilly Seaweed in two colors, Distress Oxide - Chipped Sapphire and Salvaged Patina. I colored in a "hill" for the seaweed. Next, i used some Texture paste with Fairy Hugs Stencil - Pebble Beach. As soon as i took off the stencil i added some Tim Holtz Embossing Glaze - Salvaged Patina. I let it dry a bit and heat embossed it to get the "china" look.

I am using Fairy Hugs - Row Boat
For this card, I started with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - TumbleShine. I stamped Fairy Hugs - Ania's Tree with VersaFine Clair - Pinecone and colored the tree with Prismacolor pencils. I then, stamped Fairy Hugs - Row Boat in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. I colored in the part of the that wasn't in the circle background to match the circle background. I stamped Fair Hugs Sentiment - in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne. The row boat needed some "ground" so i colored in a bit of grounding finding a similar pencil color to the background paper. Last thing i added was Fairy Hugs Stencil - Pebble Beach with texture paste and immediately added Tim Holtz Distressed Embossing Glaze - Salvaged Patina. I waited for the paste to slightly dry and then i heat embossed it.
