For this card, as you know i've made over 6 different designs from Tutti Designs - Daisy Panel. This is one of panels i made, that started my inspiration for this card. A bit about the Daisy Panel, i cut out the die from metallic gold. Next because i have cut this die out so many times and saved the negative backgrounds, i mixed and matched the backgrounds. Here, i used a wooden purple and a pink. When i was done i sanded it and then i distress it with ink.
Step by step in photos:
So starting from the back, i used a cream layer and distressed the edges. I cut a strip of Kraft paper to match up to the daisy panel. i embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder. Next i used the same cream paper and stamped it with Fairy Hugs - Fairy Dictionary and i distressed the edges and tucked that in under the panel but on top of the kraft embossed layer. I also cut Tutti Designs - Nesting Stitched Hexagons from cream and distressed those.
With some of the gold metallic scrap paper i cut out Tutti Designs - 746 Honey Bee Hexagon (fussy cut the honeycomb) and cut the bee. I added those as shown. Last i cut Tutti Designs Word Set - Happy from black card stock as shown in the finished sample above.
