For this card, i was thinking The Beatles, Yellow Submarine. So, i started with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - PollenWing for the background and Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ThunderGlow for Tutti Designs - 701 Porthole. I wanted to add Tutti Designs - 699 Mermaid Scene, so i cut it out 2 times from a dark gray. Everything but the mermaid tale fit in the window.. so i thought why not fussy cut the mermaid and the one rock and place it on the outside of the porthole. So the first layer i fussy cut the fin off and placed it behind the window with a circle cut from vellum. Then i used wax to "color" in the mermaid and a white pencil for her back and arms. Before i put her on the card, i glued everything down and hole punched the holes through the yellow paper so i could add the silver brads to the back. Now, i can adhere the mermaid and the fall out pieces for her to sit on. One last thing, i added some sequins using clear accents glue.
